  1. I believe an EGM of the WS is required as soon as the revised offer is made to gauge opinion beyond message boards. We appear to have a disfunctional WS board with members resigning and requiring replacement and a lack of confidence in the Executive Board. It was recognised months ago that issues including governance and communications were a problem and work streams were identified to remedy these. I think we need a pause to sort out our governance before any offer can be considered
  2. I think we should lock Vietnam91 and EB in a room together until they can sort this out.
  3. Hiya - I have enjoyed reading your perspective on the offer, however as you say I would like to read why 3 members of the WS committee thought it acceptable. The previous WS vote showed that the Well Bois and internet notice boards do not reflect the WS view as the majority wanted to know the offer before deciding. I wonder how many of the WS board have a line in the sand over 50+1%? JayMFC has been very quiet recently
  4. I agree that this thread has possibly become an echo chamber of negativity from a few dominant posters and similar to the WS vote on not retaining 50+1% may not reflect the opinions of the majority. It would be interesting to read some positive comments on the proposal, other than EB, as the Twitter poll suggests some people are not against it. I would like to hear more of what EB will bring to the club, other than a documentary, that could result in growth of the club and his motivation for investing. Somewhat controversial but if the WS membership voted for possible dilution from 50% ownership is the current board reflecting the views of the members? St Mirren don't seem to have a problem with fan engagement with SMISA having 51% ownership.
  5. I find it surprising when EB states that there was little feedback from the Well Society on his offer. Given the categoric nature of the WS statement perhaps it would be worthwhile for the WS board and EB to go into further negotiations before any vote is held
  6. Never been a fan of pyrotechnics but to see one being lit in the main stand by Livi supporters was frightening and exposed a serious security lapse
  7. Spotted him limping down the stairs in the main stand today so he isn't coming back this season.
  8. Any idea when the result of the Well Society vote will be public?
  9. 4500 x £33 = probably not Unpleasant statistic is that takings from Celtic supporters for one game is greater than Well Society contributions for a year
  10. Perhaps an EGM before Wednesday would have highlighted the importance of the vote and allow proper questioning of the significance of a vote for/against investment where majority shareholding is lost.
  11. Based on our budget reckoned to be about 11th or 12th finishing around 10th is a fair prediction. Cups wont bring in enough to make up the deficit and we have 1 sellable player. The Well Society is unlikely to make up the annual deficit with subs so I reckon without investment we should acept life in the Championship.
