  1. Agree. I was left thinking on Saturday just how much more the players seem to enjoy playing at Lesser, whatever our many misgivings about it. Their record there is pretty strong. Without re-litigating the whole Lesser fiasco, I enjoyed the fans being closer to the players and the action, and I suspect they do too.
  2. Thank you! I hadn't taken from the way the statement was written that supporters could _only_ purchase tickets in person or over the phone. All sorted, thanks to the incredibly helpful front desk
  3. Morton tickets finally available, though I'm getting 'No Available Package' on any free seat I select, so I guess I'm not going then. Deep sigh. This club...
  4. Are there any whispers on when the Morton tickets might be available? Really cutting it fine for those of us who need to try and beat the Oasis-style queue
  5. I think this is right. 'Up, back and through' isn't exactly revolutionary tactically, but Sheridan played his 'up and back' part in that well last season. With players like Thomas and McGregor capable of making the pass, and Turner, Hinds, Duncan et al. all able of making the 'through' run. That feels pretty potent to me ...if QP get the first bit right
  6. First QP away game for me, and first game I've been able to attend this season. Thought QP alternated between 'slow and predictable', where every rolled pass was telegraphed and easy to defend; and 'just give Zach something to chase', which was... easy to defend. I'm all in for controlled, patient build up, but surely has to be quicker to create the space and opportunities. Rudden is limited as a player, but the quality of service to him if QP go long, and the support around him when he has it, felt poor and - more worryingly - disorganised. On the plus side: Hinds again, all energy and unpredictability, just seems to lift the tempo; a full away end that felt distinctly more youthful than Hampden
  7. In fairness, he didn't write the headline and he didn't say 'I was a Bielsa babe'. That's the journalist. I think a few of us commented at the time that McKinstry has seemingly had some mental health struggles, and this article alludes to that too. I don't think any of us know enough about his situation in that respect, so be kind. I suspect he's not getting the greatest agent advice and he might well come to regret turning down an extension that was pretty generous of QP given last season. But good luck to him, hope he finds somewhere, and re-finds what he had going for him when he was a kid
  8. Mild stadium envy watching that... That seventh goal was really nicely worked from back to front
  9. Hmm, not much hint (or hope) in the manager's preview of players incoming, more hoping for the existing guys getting back to fitness. Too pessimistic a reading?
  10. Last thing on this, I contacted Toffs about it and they replied today to say: ‘We no longer have the fabric available to manufacture this shirt.’
  11. Found a (tragically sold) example on Ebay. A beauty... https://www.ebay.com/itm/116288969572
  12. That new SLO is going to be busy... More seriously, as a new-to-QP supporter, I couldn't believe how few opps there were to give the club money. If the club _is_ all about growing a fanbase, it should be hard for anyone to go there — particularly with kids — and _not_ leave with a bit of merchandise that helps plant the seed, that parents aren't worried about their kids wearing in the street here, and makes them feel part of something.
  13. Deep in this Nutmeg / The Guardian piece with out of work managers... Kevin Thomson was on the shortlist for the QP job last time out.
  14. Speaking of kits, in the absence of a particularly decent home or away option currently, are there any sites doing good retro QP kits? Toffs are even managing to offer a Third Lanark(!) shirt, but not a QP one. Score Draw only seem to do a couple of Scottish teams
