  1. Sounds like we have paid a fee for him as well. Does Hancock mover further forward and we play them both in a 4-4-2?
  2. The idea of having our first choice keeper as a loanee worries me. Especially if we are going for Hutton as our backup again. All it needs is an injury to another keeper at the Loanee’s club and they will be recalled. As happened with Johnson this season at Queen of the South. If the plan is Johnson, then I would rather we had at least retained Hemfrey as a backup. He has his faults but I felt he did a decent job for us last season.
  3. I think Hemphry has done a decent job for us. His reluctance to come for crosses baffles me, but as you say he is a good shot stopper. I think he looks comfortable with the ball at his feet as well. He also has a 100% penalty save rate for us… that might crucial tonight if it goes the distance. Is Murray Johnson really an option? It would only be a loan surely as he is on a long term contract with Hibs(based on Wikipedia).
  4. Interesting to read from that article we are apparently 1.5 hours commute from Thistle. Didn’t realise they were ground sharing with St Johnstone….
  5. It was Toddy missing the sitter (I was calling him donkey) that day, only for Hancock to equalise from the subsequent corner. Then Toddy beginning his transition to cult hero by a lovely winner. A great narrative.
  6. Great to be top scorers as well from the last ten games after struggling for goals during the first half of the season.
  7. Much as I would like to see some of those names signed up for next season and beyond I can’t see anything being announced until the end of the season. I think we’ll still be very cautious and effectively the board need to have 3 potential financial plans in place for next season. One for relegation(which would really feel like a disaster now despite pre-season expectations), one for another season in the Championship and one for the Promotion dream….
  8. Turns out playing on Tuesday nights was all we had to do to fix our away form. Great result and good to see Morton lose as well. Definitely in the mix for the play off spots.
  9. It was a relief to snatch a point although the game could really have gone either way. I was disappointed in McMaster today and very surprised we took Telfer off so early in the second half. Superb effort from Mason for the goal but not quite sure it deserved the MOTM award from the sponsors. Megwa was our best player to me without a doubt.
  10. I always felt the final kick in the teeth for them that day was getting fined for selling wee plastic bottles of juice at the stadium snack bar instead of cartons. Happy times.
  11. The pitch inspection is complete and the game is on. I am feeling far too optimistic and really looking forward to the game today. 3 points today would be an excellent end to an incredible year.
