  1. Chesterfield done me for £103 in a 5 team accumalator for a £2 stake. Gutted. Southampton, Millwall, Reading and Rochdale already in the bag. Was hoping it was another Sky Sports News cock up but not to be.

  2. Taken from DEEK on livilions :-

Oh what a surprise the members of the SFL management committee can break the rules with no comeback but we get totally shafted.

Oh sorry I forgot they were relegating us to the third, leaving us with players to pay on first contracts to help us and give us a chance to survive financially, what a f******g joke. They are deliberately trying to kill us off.

Well here is a news flash, we at Livingston FC, staff and fans are fully committed to pull through this without any help from you lot and then we will shove it right down your throat.

The joke of it all is that we have been called for everything in the last weeks and all the time, as we all knew, the real problems were in that corridor in Hampden.

What next then, Ged has been widely quoted as saying they will pursue it to the end?

I am going to the game on Wednesday and I really hope I do not see any of these numpties, as if they would mix with us plebs, as I don't think I could trust myself.

The p*ss is running down my legs after reading that. Hopefully the SFL finish the job off and roger them for 15 points after failing to turn up at Ochilview against Shire.

  3. It's been said before, but for all the criticism of the SFL's inaction prior to last week, I've no idea what it is in particular that people think they should have been doing? Livingston were prior to McGrouther's appointment not in breach of any rules and Massone was denying there was any problem. The SFL had no entitlement to get involved.

    :

I'd agree very much with what is said about the SFL but it's been common knowledge for months that this was about to happen so you wonder whether the SFL has the foresight for a contingency plan when or if the inevitable happened. I was at the Livi v QoS game back at the end of the season and I remember picking up a programme lying around one of the suites at Almondvale and a Livi officially quite openly admitting in front of a group of people, I'd keep that programme safe because it's most likely to be the last one this club will ever issue. Even the likes of Davie Hay was quite open about the club's future was in grave danger unless things were sorted soon.

  4. I really thought Leeds would win the play-off's this season. I was even waiting for them on my coupon last nite, so convinced they would win but once Millwall scored it was the like the preverbial Hare caught in the headlights. The bottle went. The atmosphere died you could sense on the tv, here we go again.

I know there are a few Leeds fan on here, i'd be interested to know their thoughts but if Grayson had maybe been appointed say before Christmas they might have gone up in an automatic place. They were hot and cold under McAllister.

As for Millwall, I wouldn't judge them totally on what you've watched in the play-offs. I saw them murder Tranmere at Prenton Park earlier in the season and they played some terrific attacking football. Kenny Jackett got his tatics spot-on last night. Kept it tight as long as they could and the equaliser just finished Leeds off.

  5. Not really surprised. At this rate they are going to struggle to make the play-offs. Some pretty high profile names out of work at the minute should be interesting to see who they go for. Perhaps time they went for someone with experience at getting teams out of league one.

report from tonight's match. Crowd in excess of 20k, well done to both sets of fans for turning out is such numbers for a nothing cup tie.

Was at the game against Bradford. Truly unbelievable atmosphere for a Johnstone's Paint Trophy game with a lot of needle as it was a local derby. I know how the ended up in League One but all the same a tragic story for a club the size of Leeds with a fanatical support and great set-up.
