I don't think Bair or Spittal were obvious candidates to start putting up the numbers they did last season but we were pleasantly surprised. Hopefully someone surprises us again this season.

I love Davor getting up from the dugout and just legging it to join in the celebrations.

Wilson had already been out on loan and made 30ish senior appearances before this season too which helped him massively. I think a loan can only benefit Wells. Main thing for guys that age is game time and he wont get enough of that at Fir park this season.

Big Connor Ripley did it a few times as well I think.

Baffling that a 32 year old Kenny Mclean is in ahead of these guys. Surely this is a good chance to give them experience of competitive international football before the next set of qualifiers start.

I think that even if Van Veen does get fit and screw the nut, he's still only a 10-15 goal a season striker at best. That season with us was a complete miracle that won't ever be repeated. With the wages he will be on most teams in our division would be daft to go after him IMO.

No sure if anyone has already mentioned it but that stepover/turn that SODs did just outside their box was a thing of beauty.

I don't hate this. I thought he was pretty decent in that 'Not quite a striker but also not a midfielder' role last season. Also adds a bit of pace which is something we're lacking at the moment.

As much as it was a good thing having such a good number and variety of candidates, I think it maybe put a good few people off. Having so many names and pitches to sort through was a bit of a ball ache. Not sure how they could've gone about it but streamlining the process a bit probably would let more people engage.
