I think most think he has earned time to sort out a mess of a summer transfer window. However he has to fix it and quickly. We have a squad that is so out of balance and it is his making.

Agreed it is his problem and what's worrying is, he recognised there was an issue a few months back. Some players have had it too easy for too long IMO and need taken out the team

I would release him purely because he blocked me on Twitter.

During a development game against St Johnstone he was getting a bit of grief from their fans - all 5 of them! Some comments referenced his hair colour & the like. His dad snapped and started to shout at people in an incredibly aggressive manner. Maybe understandable when your son getting abused. His mum joined in and branded them racists. They then sat down but much to my amusement his dad sat for a good few minutes with his middle finger up, giving it to those behind him. If anything this encouraged the offenders & an increased amount of comments ensued.

My ban came when I tweeted him after the match saying that in this day an age such treatment was disgusting & he maybe could be the MLK of our time. Immediately blocked. So for this reason & nothing to do with skill or ability...get rid!

There is only one person looking rather silly after this 'episode' and it's not Shepherd

Getting a bit boring watching Sibbald beat three men, shimmy past a fourth, loop the loop then pass the ball 5 yards to the opposition.

Having watched Sibbs yesterday at closely, it confirms what I've been saying for ages, that our team is holding him back at times

There is no doubt that he would be an even better player in a better team. He is easily our most creative player and you can sense his frustration at times when there is a severe lack of movement in front of him.

His best position IMO is centrally off a striker. People need to start realising the bigger picture rather than trying to keep slating the boy

Since I mentioned it in the Hibs thread, for pure enjoyment and maybe some young lads havent seen it before.... Crunchie doing what Crunchie did best.

Iv never seen a player get destroyed in a game like Gary Naysmith got from the wee man in that match. Felt a bit sorry for him afterwards due to reports he was in bits after it.

My favourite Falkirk goal of all time. Just pity how that game ended. The other clip on YouTube of the wee man ripping the piss out Amoroso is a joy to behold

  5. if I were in charge Sibbs would be fighting for his place next season.

He's our most creative player and he is less influential on the left but he does a job for the team. His best position is just off a striker or in a central role. He was outstanding in the games at Easter Road last season when moved in there

The fact some people are hard on Sibbs is because we sometimes rely on him too much

  6. My biggest flaw from that team is people still not realising Leahy isn't a left back.

2 full seasons of watching him there and folk are content to let him get on with it.

Exactly how many goals down our left side have we to lose before the penny drops

    100% spot on

Majority of the teams that played us last season hit our left side everytime and we lost a fair amount of goals from there

He's came on leaps and bounds over the season Luke but he's still our weak link

  7. With our 1st friendly being June 29 in Ireland, when are we back for pre-season training?

    Only bloody 5 weeks away

23rd of June rings a bell but not sure if that's when they start. The majority of our squad only had 3 weeks off last season after the cup final and another short break is testament to their achievements

  8. In reality, not sure how many of our team yesterday have played there last game for us. However, it's clear that it was Blair Alstons

A special mention to that man. For everything he's done for us, the goals, ability and his general decency as a man, I hope he kicks on and plays at the highest level he can

  9. Game too far in hindsight. Horrendous start just killed us. Needed to get through 30 minutes. Hardly got through 30 seconds

Agreed 100%. SFA won't change the rules because they are scared of losing another club

Over the 2 games we weren't good enough, I admit. My heart goes out to the Bairns at the end today, had some players in tears
