  1. I was at the game last night, and Elgin should have won that game 3 or 4 _ 1.  Hester had plenty chances, , but most of it was down to our keeper, who was on great form, we were pinned back most of the second half. yous were just unlucky.

If yous show the same commitment for the remainder of the season, I'm sure you will be fine.

Good luck for rest of the season.

Thinking of travelling through from Perth for this today and looking for some guidance.

    1. Is the game likely to be on?

    2. Decent pre-match pub?

    3. Also assuming it must be cash/card at the gate?

    Any help appreciated!

Game on, nice day in Stirling just now. lots of pubs in City centre, Morrisons not bad, or Weatherspoons City walls Cheap food and drink, Nicky tams nice wee pub. or near the ground, Sprinkerse view, Brewers fare type pub.

    Cash or card at turnstyle.

Enjoy the Game, If you make it.

    Cheers

  3. does anyone not think the free kick for forfars goal, was ours, Grant got a touch on the ball first, great finish from the resulting free kick though, Forfar played well first 20 mins, hit the post, how it stayed out i will never know.

We dominated after that, on another night would have won, combination of a couple of good saves from the Forfar keeper, and poor finishing, kept it a point a peace.

very entertaining game. onwards to Saturday, same application and commitment, will bring 3 points for the Binos.

  4. thought first fifteen minutes we dominated, played good football, and created chances.

Then whatever happened, we seem to settle for that, cowden never created much first half, but had most of the possession.

Second half, cowden dominated for long spells and should have had a goal or two, but they scorned the chances, We made some subs in the last fifteen and killed the game. Nice to see wee Sean heaver scoring, will do his confidence a lot of good. overall a good win. But cowden not as bad as the score suggests.

Are Stirling Albion the most underperforming football club in Scotland, relative to the size of the town?

I would agree with that, the amount of smaller towns who do really well, Alloa are a prime example. ross county a very small town, but sustain full time football. we could go through every league above us and find comparable towns, that seem to manage to stay at a higher level.

I dont know the answer, Whether it is better run financially, or bigger fan base, which in most cases, not so sure about that, i have watched the binos for about 46 years, and they have virtually won nothing, apart from the little foray's up and down the leagues, i would love to know how hamilton , livingstone, ross county and whoever mange to get to the premier league.

Sadly don't think i will ever see the binos there.
