Lordofthewing
Where can I get my hands on Championship Manager 01/02? Preferably somewhere I can download it. I don't know if this thread will be much help, as the first page only has a mention of where you can download updates; http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/95193-champ-manager-0102/ And yes, I was this bored (and feeling far too awake after working back shift)!

ShakehandsTom - DFC
How do these 'money for your old mobile' deals work? I.e. I have an old phone I'd like to exchange for some cash. Who are the best people to do this via, and how does the process work?

I have used Mazuma a couple of times and they are good,You just put in your IMEI number and they give you a price. You can then either print of a label and send it to them or they send you a prepaid pack,They either send you a cheque or pay the money straight into you account.
Hedgecutter
Roughly how much would a taxi from the train station in Aberdeen to Denmore Road in Bridge of Don be? Easily a tenner, no more than £15 I'd imagine. Costs me about 5-6 just to Mounthooly. Personally I'd just jump on the No.1 red line bus (on Union St) and get off at the AECC which is just 5 mins walk away. Who are the best people to do this via, and how does the process work? There's a comparison website you can use to find who will give you the most cash. I can't remember what it is, but I found it through Google.

How reliable are they? And for the money to go into your bank account, at what stage do they ask for this information?

I have had no problem with them,They pay the money into your account the day the get the phone and only ask for your details once you agree to sell you phone to them and not when you are just looking into it.

Does the quality matter, ie scratches, worn out battery etc. ?
Andy Dufresne
Does the quality matter, ie scratches, worn out battery etc. ? You get a price for working or not working,I would say if the battery is worn out i would class that as not working,But if it charges and holds a charge for a day or so that would be working. As for the scratches i don't think they really care as long as the screen is not cracked.
ShakehandsTom - DFC
Cheers for the responses. Will probably do that. What (excusing my ignorance) is the IMEI number?

It is like a number plate for your phone,Put *#06# into your keypad and on your screen it will bring your IMEI number up.

banterman86
Is the football "magazine" The Blizzard a worthwhile read? I just googled it. Looks interesting. Where can you buy it? I'm tempted to give it a chance. If it can top When Saturday Comes it'll be doing very well though. edit: i could quite easily have just looked on the website. Waterstones on Princes St it is. Yeah, it;s a good un, some of the writing is very interesting. I'd recommend the digital downloand of issue 0,some interesting politcal/footall articles in it which may tickle the picles of you two specifically.
Hedgecutter
Why hasn't this thread been turned in a '1001 things you should know' book yet? I know there are numerous books with similar titles but as much as it's nice to know how many stomachs a cow has, there's far more chance of someone finding the Hamilton to East Kilbride bus times more practical.

As someone who commutes from Hamilton to East Kilbride daily I would tend to agree.
