I've been doing it for years but I've only just let slip this to my girlfriend, she thinks it's totally weird and she's never heard of it before. I've got a Ted Baker suit that was pretty much off-the-rack from Slaters a couple of years ago, but it's a nice piece of gear. The only problem is the trousers are quite "baggy". Like they were made for a bloke with fatter legs than me. Would a standard place that does alterations be able to make the trouser legs skinnier, or can they only really adjust the length? I've had a couple of suit trousers adjusted like this, just ask to have them tapered and they should be able to pin them in the shop for you to see what they look like before they adjust them. There's a place up Guildhall Street in Dunfermline that will do alterations, although I imagine there will be a place in most towns that do the same. I mean, freedom of speech is all well and good but in reality, there's no such thing. You have no entitlement to piss off other people for no good reason. If you're a racist, you can hold your opinion just fine but that doesn't mean you have the right to express it - which is perfectly correct if you ask me.
