Enigma
We did compensate Brechin, that could partially account for some of the loss, probably also account why we went down the unemployed route this time around.
Shooboax
Irony is firbaw fans being so fickle demand clubs spend money. A lot of fans don't appreciate what it takes to run a club.
renton
So, did anyone go along to the meet the manager thing, accounts aside was anything remotely interesting/makes you clutch at straws hopeful said?
AllanJM
This was also the season where we'd spent our medical/physio budget for the whole season by about October was it not.
Scary Bear
Are these accounts not to 30 June 2015 and so reflect the results of Murray's last season? Yes, the financial results are from Murray's last season. So, the compo for Murray was possibly included in that season's financial results. However, we had good season ticket sales and Hearts, Hibs and Rangers were in the league, so you'd have thought we could turn a profit.
Poet of the Macabre
Quote Don't want to see club running at loss but sometimes can't be helped. Appalling to see your chairman being so blasé about losing £56,000. Probably the real reason you're charging Pars fans £20 and needing external investment to sign players.
Scary Bear
Compensation at the sacking of a manager ? Would this also be the start of that season that the seats were put into the keytech stand ? Yes, I think it was that season. Think Hearts and Rangers fans were in the Railway Stand.

donny86
Personally I blame Gary Locke, if he had taken the job instead of Murray we wouldn't have had to sack Murray and pay him off Locke out

Could do with one of those. Or a winger who's every cross leads to a goal. 100% conviction is what we demand. You will be boo'd otherwise.
Hank Scorpio
Don't think I've ever seen us with a squad this size before. I make the 23 first team players.

Unless he really doesn't fancy one of the guys who was already here when he arrived I'm not sure I see the point. We're already at the stage where some 'forward thinking' players can't get a game. I'm all for competition, however lots of forward thinging players won't necessarily get you goals, if your not set up right.
Rover the Moon
Poor financial results after a couple of consecutive profit seasons prior to that. Sacking a manager, paying compo to get a new one and handing out two-year deals to players who were then deemed surplus to requirements will do that to your accounts though - and some of those things might not even be factored into this set of accounts.
