Hank Scorpio Posted July 8, 2023 Author Share Posted July 8, 2023 I haven’t seen any of the games so far until today, so have no idea how quick Dylan Corr is, but based solely on today’s showing I hope we are going to get a centre half with a bit pace about them. Jilted John Posted July 8, 2023 Share Posted July 8, 2023 (edited) It’s been a strange pre season. The calibre of opposition meant that we didn’t really get out of 3rd gear. I’d have liked us to have played a premiership standard side just to give us a bit more of a test. The new signings all seem to have fitted in well. The only one I’ve been slightly disappointed in has been Smith. I think if and when we have a full squad to choose from, it’ll be hard to see where he fits in. If we can get another centre half in, even if it’s another old timer like Considine, we won’t be far away ne t season. You'd have to think if he was getting a contract it would have been done by now. The pars will have played the St Pauli, St Johnstone and have Hearts tomorrow before us. As long as players get a run out. Getting spangled by Premiership opposition isn’t great for confidence. I'd be surprised if he has a career in football ahead of him. There's young players who will show glimpses of talent but he wasn't one of them Imo.
