Munich95
Crazy enuff i went up to dundee thinking we would see a reaction fr saturday! Yet what i witnessed was utter garbage, no fight, no dig, lacked effort, drive, determination even simlle things like talking to each other! We were really that bad, 4 mistakes 4 goals. I really feel for kevin cuthbert, he is a cracking all round goalie yet his rotten defenders dont give him any help what so ever! Grant murray sets the team up the same way every week! Boring as f**k and even the players dont understand it, lets give the oposition all the time on the ball they need.
Cannon Fodder
Take it you weren't there on Saturday then? Yeah, was also there tonight. If it wasn't for him it would have been 7 or 8.
Ro Sham Bo
I'm not of a fan of Murray's by any stretch of the imagination but he's not going to get sacked on the back of defeats by Hearts and Dundee, however bad we were in those games. He really needs a result and ideally a convincing performance against Cowdenbeath on Saturday though.
Ro Sham Bo
Yeah, was also there tonight. If it wasn't for him it would have been 7 or 8. Not convinced by him after his efforts on Saturday.
rovers86
Thankfully I decided to stay at home tonight. From the little i've read were were lucky to only lose 4-0.very lucky it was only the 4 they were just messing with us for the last half hour!

Hit the nail on the head, Even the Ramsden cup win he couldni motivate them it was down to the Sun columnist who slated the team the day before the match and they pinned the article on the dressing room wall pre-match.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Like i said in the Raith V Dee Thread, i would like to try to have took the Hearts and Dundee games with a pinch of salt, i dont expect us to compete with either of them, but i do expect some fight and determination from the lads, which isnt there at all .... Also conceding 8 Goals in 2 matches is absolute woeful & not acceptable in any way shape or form ... Murray needs to have a hard look at himself and give the lads a boot up the rear end ... Ill remain optimistic we can hopefully beat Cowdung this weekend and continue our semi decent league form, only time will tell ... Can anyone confirm that Perry & Nade both went off injured ? More injuries is definitely not what we need .... Both limped off the park.
McGuigan1978
That could have been a few more tonight. I didn't actually think we were too bad in the first half, but we were completely overpowered in the second. A subs bench that consists of Laidlaw, Ellis, Callachan, Anderson, and 1 or 2 teenagers has to be a concern, especially when Nade and Perry are limping off. Okay, maybe no-one could have forseen that we'd potentially have 5 guys injured in August, but we surely need a couple of loan deals depending on the extent of Nade and Perry's injuries. That potentially leaves us with Stewart and Vaughan up-front, and a back four of Thomson, Watson, Ellis and Mckeown. Oh dear.

Rovers1992/1993
The only player I can single out and say he put in a decent shift and was everywhere on the pitch, also brought out a fantastic save from Bain with a free kick was Conroy yet again. Cuthbert kept the scoreline a bit respectable with a couple of fantastic 1 on 1 saves. The other 9 players may well have just stayed in the dressing room! Why was Stewart trying to act cool by passing it into the net once he had taken it round Bain? F*cking blast it into the net.
Rover the Moon
It's post-match defeat overreaction bingo time... 'Murray must go' - tick. 'The board are pocketing money' - aye. 'I'll no be back till Murray goes' - check. 'No strength in depth' - you betcha. 'We're doomed' - HOUSE!! Never ceases to amaze me.

In all seriousness though, most managers wouldn't have got as much time as Murray so is it really a surprise people are wanting him gon? Where is the strength in depth? There is currently none. Obviously you're just trying to be funny with your whole bingo card carry on but the people that you say are 'over reacting' have every reason to be doing so.

sonicsco
If we did not have 3 big teams in out league he would of been sacked by now. Only reason he is not is the bored knows they will get fans through the door no matter who the manager is coz of the teams we are playing. If it was usual teams there be no fans and board would act. So only way board will listen if we did not turn up for one home game.

I mean, are you for real. What is it you see that we don't. I really hope your on a fishing trip. This management and BoD are totally bereft of ideas. No strength in depth, that's another 2 players injured, and by the looks of things we'll go into Saturdays game with Laurie Ellis at left back and the teenagers. But you bash on, Murray needs time.
Ludo*1
Dundee fans said pre-season, whatever you do, don't play Nade up top on his own and don't just punt the ball up to him as despite his physique that just isn't his game at all. Raith seemed to base their entire play on that last night. Playing Mark Stewart in an attacking midfield role (Or playing him at all really) wasn't exactly a brilliant idea either.

Of course im wanting him to go yes the board have done a great job but are only interested in the cash IMO Majority not saying that I'll still be going I support my team not the manager We are down to the bare bones already. We are not doomed . People are voicing there opinion that is all, and quite rightly so because we have been rancid since dec 2013 the stats speak for them selves
Munich95
i dont get how some of my fellow rovers fans can happily sit back and accept that we were beaten 4-0 by the better team! yes hearts were really good and yes dundee were also good going forward and quite easily couldve scored 8 passed us last night, but these players selected for raith are making terrible decisions during games, and its these decisiosn that are costing us goals, last night, three out of the 4 attacking dundee players were allowed time on the ball, and freedom arround the box to adjust themselves to shoot on their stronger foot,! why? because theyve beentrained and told to do so, we set up so narrow its un heard of, at one point last night dundee centre half ran 50 yards with the ball un challenged, and dundee had 4 players 2 either side of the pitch almost on the side line and not a raith player near them for 15/20 yards! this happened on more than one occasion! 28 games since January 1st 2014. 16 lost. 8 won. 4 drawn. anyone want to argue with me and say these are stats more than capable of keeping a manager in his job?
