Berwick has one of the coolest front doors to a pub ever.

Spent a dreich  afternoon in there in the summer of 89. It was the only pub in the street with McEwans Export on tap, back in the day when it was still a decent pint.

You lot beat Thistle 2-1 today. Kevin Nisbet and Wedderburn were playing. No idea if it’s common knowledge if they’re on trial. Buchanan and Nisbet with the goals.

Jordan Hart turned out for us as a trialist today....

hopefully means nothing more sinister than Rory Brian isn't back from  Oz yet, the alternative doesn't bear contemplating and would mean that Barry Smith should be registered as officially blind....as well as incompetent.

Hopefully that means nothing more than we are only having a wee look at him (though still can’t fathom why) because Rory isn’t available rather than Smith is actually contemplating signing him. If it’s the latter Smith should be registered as clinically blind as well as incompetent.

Also, Rovers have commented on the post on FB about the Berwick friendly being cancelled.

//
FURTHER STATEMENT FROM RRFC:

Both Berwick Rangers and ourselves wanted the game to go ahead.

On Friday we were contacted by Northumbria Police who told us they had “high level intelligence” that the game was being targeted by right wing extremists out to cause trouble and that there was a safety issue for fans.

They advised that the safest action was to cancel the match.

Reluctantly we have done so - given what the police have told us there was no alternative decision possible.

Fans' safety comes first.

They let an Orange walk take place in Cowdenbeath today, which was the greatest risk for trouble?
