lgb61
The game and crowd was pretty flat until Hamilton went in on their keeper, that, for me, turned the game, got some fire in the bellies of the players and crowd. And Stants was back, just quietly doing what Stants does, thought he played his more defensive role superbly tonight. Now if we can just get Dick to pass to a Rovers player instead of humping it up the park every time we might do even better.
CountryBumpkin
Anyone know what time hospitality would start for a 7.45pm kick-off? Am I right in thinking it would be 5ish?

Hospitality for a 3PM game has a 12-1PM arrival window, so I’d expect something like 4:45-5:45PM.

Someone suggested it was due to the weight of their equipment being too much for the normal position.

Like Millen on a poor day but without the crossing. But to be fair, he grew into the game and seemed solid enough second half. Agree with that but don’t think he has played for a while but second half much better and nothing spectacular he just done his job, Murray did what I hoped he would first half, make us hard to beat and solid then bring on the flair players second half to attack them

Wonder if there was any truth about the Ross Millen spat with IM?

I heard it’s true about the spat with Murray and he won’t play for us again , the fact he wasn’t in the squad for a big game imo confirms this for me

SanStarko
4 hours ago, pub car king said: It can't be underestimated how massive that win was. If we'd lost the title was done, DU would have carried on picking up points in a stable if unspectacular manner. A draw wouldn't have been a total disaster but we'd have to be almost flawless and still need favours from other teams. This puts us back in control of our own destiny. It also heaps the pressure onto Goodwin and DU, will they cope with it and kick on? A loss last night wouldn't just meant the title was done, it could have resulted in a car crash end to the season. We'd have lost six on the trot, confidence would be rock bottom, especially if we'd lost after going ahead again. We'd had been left looking over our shoulders at teams who are hitting form and it could have turned into a complete disaster. Whereas getting the win, and getting it with a late winner will hopefully spark the belief back into the players. The great run we were on the first half of the season, you could see the players fully believed and expected we would score late on when needed. Even when the opposition scored, you could almost see the players just like "Fine, we'll just go score again then". That had completely vanished during this bad run. Even last night, moreso after United scored, you could see we were a team low on confidence. Other things though; Watching Vaughan celebrate Broonys goal on the highlights is immense. James Brown really struggled early on, barely seemed to touch the ball and every time they went down his side he never once managed to block a cross. But he came into the game as it went on. I don't know how he's not utterly exhausted though, watching him the first half and he was constantly bouncing on his feet. Also loving that on the touchline camera of Broonys goal when he's chested it and it's starting to drop you can literally hear the whole South Stand yelling "SHOOT", and he duly obliged.
SerieA
The laddie has just put this weeks poster up on his wall…replacing the one of Millen. Thats as good as saying he’s on the transfer list (if that’s such a thing) I think

Their cameras were on scaffolding too in previous seasons but it was further back in the stand. Can’t go as far back because there is an area that is now used where they used to be.

Just thought it was because they were fat bast**ds! That’ll be a possible problem on the Railway Stand refurb, as they blocked some of the views in the SM Lighting Stand quite a bit.

Most of us were up until about 2am. Should be said that there was a serious discussion about recording last night immediately after the game.
