Rover the Moon
The ‘not playing in the UEFA Cup next season’ jibes in the programme amused me and my old man for years. Outstanding work. The one about Norrie McCathie having a fine moustache always sticks in my mind. Just wish we’d have won the title that day against them. Would have been the perfect end to the season of all seasons.

When my good name was dragged through the newspapers on the Monday morning, Norrie was quoted in the Courier saying, "It's just a bit of banter. No harm done." Good on him. The Scotsman said I was "unavailable for comment".

I’m amazed that you have been put in the Jackie Husband - I know it’s a midweek game but it’s a huge game for both clubs and would expect Raith to have a large travel support so would have expected you to get the whole Colin weir stand to yourselves. No so sure on a large travelling support.Live on theTV will put paid to that

RaithRyan
Sent by a mate tonight who works at the club. They’ve absolutely wrecked the North Stand toilets and some of the seats. Thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Sure Falkirk fans did the same to the Pars a few years back. Not the brightest thing to do in the Away end.

Thousands of pounds worth of damage. This is a shameful act and a total embarrassment to our club. I love the football rivalry banter, and that’s where it should stop. Wreaking our rivals facilities, a group of our fans beating up one disabled guy, fighting in the streets is a disgrace, I’m sure I speak for the biggest majority of Pars fans when I say I’m embarrassed and ashamed that we have morons like this in our support. It begs the question of where the stewards and police were while this was happening as this must have made a fair amount of noise? it’s a pity they weren’t caught at the time and being prosecuted for this behaviour
chris1883
That's the area the fine members of "Section North West" decided to occupy - is it not? It really makes you wonder how they are able to function in society. As much as I do detest DAFC on the pitch, 99% of the support are good people who simply want to support their club. There club isn't doing well financially and now look likely to received a 6 figure bill for damage caused by people that claim to be supporters. Idiots. I suppose this does help justify the 'premium' ticket price. Who knows, next season (if we are bot still in this division), the ticket price might need to be even higher.

It really makes you wonde I get what you’re saying and understand your feelings, but please don’t tar the entire NW section with the same brush. I know quite a few fans that have sat in the NW longer than most in there have been alive, and they are good honest lifelong Pars fans that will feel the same disgust as me about this.

Due to our crowd's jumping so dramatically this season so has the number of absolute fannies turning up causing bother, throwing shit around and generally acting the c**t. But as has been said these are the minority and 99% of folk going to the game are decent folk supporting their local teams.

Anyway, as a club we have to own this but it's not exclusively a DAFC/NW thing, it's not even a football thing. It's the world we live in where scroats do these sort of things then boast about it on SM. Sad Edited March 12 by da_no_1
