Guest Psycho_FFC
I am about to purchase a few reigon 1 dvd's from play.com and was wondering if they will work on my player? My dvd player is multi-reigon but does it come already to confined to these settings or do you need to unlock them? Cheers

Not 100% sure though, someone like Winston Smith, who is a dab hand on DVDs will probably have more info
Baggio
I have a multi region but I had to unlock it. I magine it depends on the DVD player. May I respectfully suggest you have a look at the instructions?
Guest Psycho_FFC
How did you unlock it? Know of any sites?
Baggio
I bought it in Dixons and got the code from Dixons website as per my instruction manual
The Poker King
I'd have thought if it was multi region it would be all ready to go. My DVD player is region 2 but I found a website that give instructions for 'unlocking' it so that it will play discs from any region. I've never done it as I only have region 2 discs, but the site says that it doesn't adversely affect your player.
Frank Booth
How did you unlock it? Know of any sites? Try this one DVD reviewer and use their search facility to locate your player and the relevent hack. However if your DVD is already multi-region then it'll automatically play anything. The Poker King
How did you unlock it? Know of any sites? You must have been typing that as I was typing my post! I can't remember the name of the site. I think I just googled 'unlocking dvd players' or something like that. It had the codes for loads of different manufacturers. Guest backinfalkirk
A question? Can a DVD which is a language course for use on a PC, work on a DV player? There are English instructions on TV screen, but, don't understand the codes. Anyone advise??
