Guest allez le blues
just heard it in the car there before i got in. By bringing the board meeting forward it sounds optimistic that berti will get the push and he does say that 2 points is not good enough but im no sure whether they'll do it or no. Its a total stand off berti knows by walking away he'll lose nearly 2 million and the sfa don't want to give him it. Berti will never get wages like that again. I think we've just got to cut our losses and send him home.
DepartmentS
Don't you think that Berti has been trying to 'work his passage' (oh er, Mrs) for some time now. He has contradicted himself too often, been negative in statement and deed, and picked and played players who were not really ready for important matches. He wants the sack. Guest allez le blues
Before the norway game berti said on injuries "no, injuries is not an excuse. I am missing some top players but we still have top players and i am confident we can win these matches" Last night after the game berti's first excuse was "i need to get my injured players back" Naw berti would never contradict himself!! 'Robbie Winters is playing against amateurs and juniors' (ie Norwegian League). Yet around half the Norway squad play in Norway! 'Players have to be playing for their club sides...' Naysmith, Fletcher, McFadden, Thompson, Pearson, Hughes (esp Hughes). And so on.............
