I also went into a weird beard pub where I quickly ordered this without looking at the price list. Barman had started pouring when he tells me, given the strength, it's a bit more expensive. I say, no bother, I'll just have the one. That'll be £8.00 sir. I did my best to remain composed, but I think he noticed my wee wobble and paid for it with my dinner on my card. Any other PnB'ers daft enough to pay 8 quid a pint? It was good, but not that fucking good. No threats to leave or anything really, just told them its too expensive.Should be happy with that but the ease of it all has me seething that they have been charging me so far over the odds for so long and I done fuck all about it. Yeah I hear you brother.I have an annual call with them to do the same. All the wee quirks they use to cut the bill gradually end and the fucker creeps back up. It's one of the worst things about modern society for me. You have to be on the ball enough to keep on top of things like this. I have no desire at all for the telly but they offer me it once a month or so. Last week was told I could have six months free if I wanted it. I got mine cut by about £60 but it was a long slog whereby I actually left then re-signed. They are absolute arseholes to deal with. Can't be arsed with 10 minutes of programs and 5 minutes of adverts on virtually every channel. Ended up being a shedload of cash just for the odd game of football.
