Smurph
I was reading the "Controversial Opinions Thread" and noticed posters like TheDoctor, Monster, Bibby and Toma who rarely post any more who I liked. I miss them.

I miss them. Agreed. Met two of the above and they are brilliant guys. Anyway, still suffering from manflu and was thinking that a good walk later on today may help sweat it out me. I hate being off work.

Haitch
I'll be about that mark next week. Really felt the temptation two sundays ago when the weather was braw. I miss a good fag and beer in the sun I'm worried about when I go on Holiday in June, I can see me having a relapse then. I read about a really simple but effective iphone app. How it works is basically, you input what cigs you smoke, how many you smoke a day and from when you stop smoking it will constantly update how much money you have saved. Could be a bit of a motivational tool if nothing else. similar to this link http://smokefree.nhs.uk/quit-tools/calculate-the-cost/

Got a cracking pair of k Swiss trainers for £25. Also got shitloads of good football boots as well. Adidas world cups were going for £40. -
aye casino
I like Olly Murs. My sister is a big fan so I got her a couple tickets for his concert at Edinburgh Castle in July for her birthday. If no-one wants to take her, I'll gladly go with her. -

Ad Lib
Of all the sports to watch on television golf must be the most pointless. You don't even follow the same player shot for shot so it's not as though you see tactical development of their round. You just see a swing, a camera-shot of the ball against some clouds, then another showing it thudding against the ground and rolling to a stop. People criticise those who watch cricket, but at least that has constant action of sorts and can produce some sort of instant drama. The same is true of snooker. But GOLF? Why? What is remotely appealing about that? -
