Florentine_Pogen
Has anyone on here ever been in the unhappy situation when you have spent a good bit of money on a couch and realise down the line you don't like it? I spent 800 notes on this one and from the day it got delivered to the flat i just didn't grow to it, granted there were moments when i thought it was alright and we have had some good times but over all i just can't find true comfort and happiness with it. I will probably go on years pretending that I'm happy with it and not acting but deep inside me i just know things aren't right Just change the word 'couch' for the word 'woman' and suddenly life, and all it's idiosyncracies, just falls into place.

However I decided I could get really upset by this each time I sit down or just accept that it's not really the corner sofa I always dreamed of since I was a little boy.

Sergeant Wilson
Well i knew i was buying flat for years and had imagined how i would do it up myself and make it grand and then a fucking woman got involved and thought she would tell me how to spend my money and ended up having a say, i agreed to the couch after days upon days of looking nd disagreeing and find myself in this truly awful situation 9 months later. I don't really have anyone to blame apart from myself but its awful living with a mistake Kid on it's a boat.

chomp my root
'Wait until you get kids' THAT's how you get the jail. Meh, only if they find the evidence
Guest The Phoenix
Whatever you do, don't try to shag the other chair that's in the living room. Especially if it's a stool.

Guest The Phoenix
I want to get a recliner chair but there isn't that much room to put it anywhere and the mrs doesn't want it, even though its me that will be sitting on it Buy one anyway. Put it in the shed. Sit / lie on it. Your Mrs wins / you win. Everyone's happy.
Guest The Phoenix
We're in a flat - the couch takes up too much room as its a corner yin ken? We have a table and chairs in the sitting room as well so its not very convenient You move out. More room for the Mrs. Win / win.

The OP
When I was a kid I used to get in from primary school at about 3.15pm and Columbo started at 3.00pm. I always thought it was a whodunnit and prided myself on the fact I always got the answer right - the key was to pick out the person Columbo followed about for the entire episode.
BFTD
I've never been particularly fond of our couch; the armrests aren't terribly comfortable and it didn't take long for the seat cushions to give up the ghost under my excessive weight. It'll still be a sad day when it goes, as some of the happiest times of my life have been spent lying on it. Because the wean used to fall asleep on me while Soccer Saturday was on, you pervs
BFTD
The wife's laptop has started making the 'bing-bong' device connection noise whenever I touch one of the USB ports. Just now, it started the 'loading drivers' pop-up above the notification area, so I kept my finger in place. Apparently I am an Unknown Device
