Taking my mind off this impending exam with a bottle of Perfect Storm.

That exam is looming, hovering just beyond the horizon like giant Zeppelin.

Eta. I said zeppelin because I'm watching a hot air balloon race go past.

Zeppelins have a tendency to blow up in people's faces. Thanks for that

Just can't wait to be on the road tomorrow.

Aye. Last day tomorrow. Been along the waterfront, up king street and having a might cap in brew dog. Might have another elsewhere the wee market bit.

It's the cheapest place to fly to from Inverness, Good for a weekend?

It's the greatest city in the world. If you get there soon, you can even go Shaun the Sheep spotting.

By the way, Sarge, balloon race? RACE. Pfffft. It'll be the start of the Balloon Fiesta. The Balloon Glow would have been on tonight.

Milngavie is a village now is it?

Local term. Milngavie is split into named areas.

The Village = Shopping prescient bit.

The Scheme - Housing estate opposite the fire station.

Mainzy -The posher bit of the estate on the other side of Hunter Road.

"You know where Mcdonalds is?" - Where I live

The posh bit - The way out towards Mugdock. Full of houses with swimming pools and full of private school types. I know nobody who lives there.

Aye, so if you ever visit you can now talk like a local.
