Thinking of going back to Uni. Civil Engineering I think. Not 100%. A five year course at 24 is a big commitment.

I'd say there is a lot to be said for going back to uni a bit older - you're less likely to fanny around than at age 16, 17, 18. And you'd still be only 29 when you graduate, its hardly ancient

I applied for Uni at the end of last year, I should find out in the next few months if i get in or not.

I'm 29. I think when you are older you are far more focused on doing something you want to do, than just going for the sake of it. plus if i get in, i'll be treating the next 4 years like a full time job.

If you ask nicely, i'll sign you into the union though ;)

What kind of course means you have to treat uni as a full time job anyway?

Piss about for four years and you'll still be a-ok. I'll be glad to get shot of this place, this has been my most productive day in months and I've written about 300 words.
