Oscar Wilder
This time of year must've been tour time. I seen quite a few around now, but 43 years ago last night I was at The Jam, supported by The Dickies and Patrick Fitzgerald. You don't get gigs like that anymore, must have been a great night! Decent show from Mogwai - the new songs hit well - Drive The Nail in particular. The set could have been a song or two longer mind.

Fucking fantastic. Too many masks, not enough songs, I caught a drum stick. Good evening all round.

Aberdeen music hall gigs i've been at there was a lot of masks. Been to SWG3 twice and hardly anyone wearing masks, also went to King Tuts last night and it looked like everyone respected the masks going in and quite a few had them when the bands playing. Clown Job
First gig in about 2 years tonight Jarvis Cocker at the Barras Didn’t play any of the pulp classics but it was still very good, his voice had not changed in about 30 years
BB_Bino
Didn’t play any of the pulp classics but it was still very good, his voice had not changed in about 30 years He said in an interview that I read somewhere that he felt now that he’s on his 4th solo album that it was time to put Pulp to bed when he played.Glad it was a good night, would have liked to have been there myself but had something on.

murphy1970
The Jesus and Mary Chain’s long delayed Darklands tour. Was worth the wait - brilliant rendition of my favourite album followed by a 2nd set of rarely played album tracks
Richey Edwards
I saw Fish at the Glasgow O2 Academy last night. I have been to more of his concerts than any other artist - I have lost count now. But that was as good as I've ever seen him. He was clearly loving playing live for the first time in 20 months. Tonight I will see his old band Marillion in Edinburgh.

One of his best in years IMO.I had a ticket for the Denmark game tonight but Marillion got first call as usual and were excellent at the Usher Hall.Going to the Manchester gig on Thursday and the two gigs in Hammersmith next weekend too…..

That was right up there with the best Fish gigs I've been to. His band on this tour are really good as well. Marillion were excellent tonight. I was disappointed that they didn't play Glasgow but it was well worth making the trip to Edinburgh - a city I don't go to very often - to see them. Probably as the audience are getting older[emoji3]. It takes away from the atmosphere a bit. It was really noticeable how much better the atmosphere was at the Fish gig.Looking forward to the second night in Hammersmith for Marillion. Ripping out the seating so it’ll be interesting to compare the atmosphere over the two nights…
