Caveman
Watching Blood Red Shoes at The Electric Circus (Massa) in Edinburgh on Monday night. That should be great, their new album is fantastic. What's their first like? I can't believe that The Courteeners are coming to Glasgow on the same day Ayr are playing Ross County. Gutted. It has to be the football for me, every time. Edited March 7, 2010 by Caveman

pm0128
Got Idlewild at the ABC on April 30th. Going to see you me at six next sunday, also just bought tix for Kids In Glass Houses, they are playing at The Garage, i've never been before, is it a good venue? These plus General Fiasco (15th March - King Tuts), Motion City Soundtrack (30th March - Oran Mor), There for Tomorrow (10th April - Ivory Blacks), Biffy Clyro (29th April - Perth Concert Hall), Attack! Attack ! (3rd May - King Tuts) & Slam Dunk Festival (29th May - University of Herts, Hatfield) Edward_DFC: The Garage is ok, gigs tend to kick out a bit earlier as there's most likely a club night on after the gig. Some bands have an aftershow in the downstairs bit which is usually free. New Found Glory (who KIGH supported in the Garage funnily enough) had just such an after party. The lager selection is poor & door staff are very thorough in their searches. Edited March 8, 2010 by pm0128
sonofjenova
I'm going to see Mono at the Oran Mor on the 17th, can't wait. They'd better play "Moonlight" else I'll be very, very upset.
St. Starko
That should be great, their new album is fantastic. What's their first like? Yeh their new album is indeed very good. I only heard the band last Monday and I only heard their first album a few days ago. It's not as good as their new album, but it's still got a few gems. The gig was very good and loud. Some dodgey French band opened for them and didn't sound very good, but BRS were really good. Highly recommend them to others. They said the gig today was in the smallest venue of the tour (250 capacity) and I can only imagine they'll sound even better in the other places.

Zanetti
Editors at the Academy last night, they were exceptional. They put on a really brilliant show, playing a good mix of stuff from all three albums.
Caveman
you really are a c**t with no taste arent you? It seems my charming posts have attracted an internet stalker. Do you really not have anything better to do than make hilarious comments on every single one of my posts? And I would like to let you know that you calling me a "c**t with no taste" has really put a new perspective on my music, and I have decided that I hate rubbish like The Courteeners. Could you recommend to me any proper music that your well-toned ears have heard? Much appreciated. xx

NorthernLights
Couple of Trivium songs from last night. That was my first gig at the Ironworks and I had a great time. Stewards were pretty relaxed, I didn't see one person get lifted all night. They did leap to attention when the words "circle pit" were mentioned though! Also it was nice to leave a gig without twats shouting in annoying accents trying to sell you shitty cheap unofficial merchandise outside the venue.
IainMorton
NorthernLights, you must have been standing just in front on me cos I was standing on that side near the front. Didn't get any pics cos it kinda ruins gigs by looking through a camera lense half the time! Awesome gig, topped by the gig tonight at the Barras! Trivium are one of the best live bands at the moment, that's me seen them 9 times now and they seem to get better every time!

I got a new camera for Xmas and this the first gig I've been to since I got it so I was interested to see how good it was for things like this. Filmed one of Whitechapels songs. That singer has a fair set of lungs on him! Chimaira seemed genuinely shocked and surprised at the reception they got. I was delighted when I found out they were the main support band for the gig. I was so happy when they played The Dehumanising Process and Pure Hatred.
