The Top 10 👀👇👀

They'll be saving a fortune if the scandal turns out to be true 👀

Also Zoe Ball is a pish radio presenter, along with most of the c***s on Radio 2.

Zoe Ball was a bit of an eyebrow-raiser on the BBC salary list. Presumably her agent's been able to prove that she's massively popular with a large number of people who aren't on P&B, but f**k knows who. They're likely being paid for their popularity rather than ability, which is a scary thought.

The folk complaining about the salaries might be unaware that the Beeb has traditionally been the place where talent makes their name, before moving to the commercial networks to cash in. The Americans have local channels staffed by amateurs, but no c**t watches them because they're shite (yes, even more shite than you think the BBC is).

Edit: BTW, I've missed the BBC reporting on Boris refusing to co-operate with the Covid enquiry, but the front page currently has the announcement that he's fathered another child with his current wife, as if he's part of the royal family. Priorities, eh?

If the presenter is unnamed how do they know who to make claims about?

Who cares. What I'm taking from this is that if enough of us contact the BBC with wild and lurid claims about Michael McIntrye, we can probably get the arsehole suspended for a while at least.

I take it McIntyre's some kind of external contractor, as he'd surely be top of the earnings list.

How or why is up for debate, as he's shite and has a face nobody would tire of punching.

No idea..

How is ken Bruce on that list ??? Thought he got punted??

He didn't get punted, he apparently left for more money on Greatest Hits Radio. He was taken off air about a month before his contract with the BBC expired, so he earned a decent whack for sitting in the house for a few weeks.

Bit unfair. WTTW Chicago has its moments, with Geoffrey Baer (city history bloke) and Paris Schutz (news/politics) being genuinely excellent. Although if a similar scandal happened here, I’d have a big bet on this geez getting fingered solely via unfortunate name

I did see a bizarre advert for a Phoenix car dealership starring Alice Cooper, as he's local and a mate of the owner. Not the infamous one you can see on YouTube; it had Alice as Captain Kirk on the cheapest greenscreen Enterprise ever, and a scrolling starfield backdrop.

@scottsdad likely knows the one I mean. Haven't seen it since it was on the air twenty-odd years ago.

From its start, I have regarded Zoe Ball's breakfast show in a similar way that I view (or hear) Taylor Swifts music.

I assume it is popular and other people like it, but it is really not for me so I do not actively listen to it. I am proud to say that I have never knowingly heard a song by Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran.

The fact that the BBC's second-highest paid presenter is on the radio is bizarre in itself. She could be magic, but it's 2023 - the audience must be shrinking every year.

There was a while when Swift and Sheeran they were inescapable, and the two Ed Sheeran songs I've heard were some of the worst hit singles al all time. I'll say nothing about how shit Taylor Swift is as there's a vicious group of Swifties on here who'll track us down and sing mediocre songs about how much we've hurt them.

I wish fans of Sheerin or Swift no ill will, nor think they are wrong for listening to them. They are just not for me. Not listening to commercial music radio or daytime BBC radio for over 10 years helps

I have seen both interviewed and have opted not to seek out any of their music.

Presenter John Kay has been off air recently but apparently he's on holiday.

Which is the worst timing since I booked a flight for 12th September 2001.. (true story)

Imagine you got back from holiday to discover that, in your absence, your bosses sent out an email that they'd suspended an unnamed member of staff due to allegations that needed to be investigated.

For years, you'd be confusing new starts with your desperate cries of, "for the last time, Deborah, I am not a beast!"

No way. We all feel privileged to be the first people you’ve told that to.
