Is that not a good thing?

Why didn’t the SPFL act last week or back in December when new restrictions were brought in and the new variant was on the rise. I would have had no complaints what so ever if the SPFL were on the ball and proactive. Safety has to be the top priority. Why have they waited until another premier league club f*ck up before doing this?

Well unfortunately that's true, but there's bigger issues at stake here.

How could they have possibly allowed us and PT to continue?

If it's all about safety then you should be shutting down the whole lot not pretending it's about safety when really their precious TV deals are their number one priority.  If Arbroath and Alloa can continue then league one should at least have been offered the option in my opinion.

It's a clear panic move to ensure their TV contracts don't go tits up. Safety is at the very bottom of the spfl's priorities.

Kind of agree, to be fair, but there have been rumblings in the last few days apart from the Celtic thing, and one or two non league teams and the HL have been keen to stop. So they have.

This has been explained about 53245 times: Championship and above will have strict testing regimens in place.

Yes and again my reply is what is to stop league one sides from testing once a week too. Going by the statement none of them were even asked. Will be interesting to hear if that's true from Gary deans but i.very much expect it is. The statement says that the part time aspect was seen as more important than the money implications so again why allow those two to continue without asking league one clubs if they are also willing to continue with testing in place.  The reason they didn't ask is because league one has no TV contract so could be sacrificed to please the govt.

Falkirk never disappoint, God bless you.

You need help.

Signs and symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder and the severity of symptoms vary. People with the disorder can:

  • Have an exaggerated sense of self-importance
  • Have a sense of entitlement and require constant, excessive admiration
  • Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
  • Exaggerate achievements and talents
  • Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
  • Believe they are superior and can only associate with equally special people
  • Monopolize conversations and belittle or look down on people they perceive as inferior
  • Expect special favors and unquestioning compliance with their expectations
  • Take advantage of others to get what they want
  • Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
  • Be envious of others and believe others envy them
  • Behave in an arrogant or haughty manner, coming across as conceited, boastful and pretentious
  • Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office

At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they perceive as criticism, and they can:

  • Become impatient or angry when they don't receive special treatment
  • Have significant interpersonal problems and easily feel slighted
  • React with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make themselves appear superior
  • Have difficulty regulating emotions and behavior
  • Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change
  • Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection
  • Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation

When to see a doctor

People with narcissistic personality disorder may not want to think that anything could be wrong, so they may be unlikely to seek treatment. If they do seek treatment, it's more likely to be for symptoms of depression, drug or alcohol use, or another mental health problem. But perceived insults to self-esteem may make it difficult to accept and follow through with treatment.

If you recognize aspects of your personality that are common to narcissistic personality disorder or you're feeling overwhelmed by sadness, consider reaching out to a trusted doctor or mental health provider. Getting the right treatment can help make your life more rewarding and enjoyable.

Erm yes, the Scottish Championship is quite clearly being forced to continue by that megabucks TV contract with the BBC Scotland channel.

What an utter fantasist.

Of course it's to protect the tv deal, they need to look like they're doing something tough with all the outcry over the celtic trip but can't do anything to affect the tv deal. The championship sides are lucky not to have been thrown under the bus to protect the tv deal this time but the spfl board wouldn't hesitate to screw championship sides over if it came to it.

That's because let's not forget the championship has its own TV deal which although not huge amounts is still money for clubs.

Says the p***k that has nearly 30,000 posts compared to my 500. If anybody had to choose between us as to who's the narcissist, you would win hands down. You're so arrogant and conceited, you probably think I've just given you a compliment.

You are as thick as shite in the neck of a bottle.

Re-read the first few symptoms in your cut and paste job. It describes a large element of the Falkirk support on here. That is the irony.

Personal insults always a sign that you've got nothing else to offer, although in your case, we already knew that anyway.

Time you did everyone a favour and took a long, long break from this thread. You clearly need it.

What is it you don’t understand about every single business in the country trying to protect their business interests just now?
I’m no fan of the SPFL but criticising the fact that there will always be a conundrum between protecting the public and business interests seems ludicrous to me....
