Can you please stop trying to sell McGlynn on our behalf? Ta…

Do you think the St Johnstone board scour P&B day and night to get recommendations from chumps like me on who their next manger should be?

We and McGlynn look forward to giving you a high five on our way up next May 😉

Yeah we got all this from ICT and Raith fans in the past few seasons m8, where you are in September means literally nothing.

Absolutely, it was a prediction rather than fact obv. Would be funny however for someone like McGlynn to by-pass you on his way up after your comments.

If there's one thing thats glaringly obvious, it's how much a managers stock can rise and fall very quickly. All it takes is a few games. Mccabe for example doing very well with Airdrie last season, if this job had opened up before this season started he would be a shoe in. Due to Ayr's good start Brown is currently desirable. There is a lot of short sightedness in football.

Likes of Brown will always have his successes amplified and his failings played down aswell due to his pals in the media and the bigot bros arse licking in general

He might still be. Despite the Daily Record screeching about Brown "turning down the job", he was just part of a 4+ man shortlist invited for more talks with a few candidates not named yet.

Over 850 away end tickets sold so far according to the clubs X account. I think it’ll be about 1200-1250 come KO although could be higher. It’s game 5 of 5 away games on the spin and that takes its toll.

Some impressive numbers the last 4 weeks though plus the trip to EEP mid August.

2,700 at Dunfermline
1,100 at Morton
1,800 at Stenhousemuir (Sold Out)
1,700 at Airdrie
2,500 at Celtic (Sold Out)

And 850 and counting now at Raith…

Should be another good turnout looking at the away end

Obviously the wings, front 6 and back 2 rows haven't been put on sale yet. Reckon lots will buy tomorrow or Saturday, 1200 sounds about right

I'd be waiting to see where Ayr end up come may before I'd see brown as a candidate for a bigger job. He's got very possibly the biggest budget in the league so winning it is basically the minimum he should be looking at. Anything less and he's underachieved.
