Honest_Man#1
Add peanut butter to protein shakes very calorie dense. I've started doing this but my god it makes them very thick.
Boostin' Kev
Youre probably adding too much even 35g is approx 200 cals.
SweeperDee
Tell you what's cracking in a shake, blended oats! Adds a bit of thickness to it, and tastes brilliant if you add a wee dash of honey to them.
Aufc
You can get instant oats. I stick them in with my blueberry protein and it tastes cracking. Go onto my protein and they are cheap as f**k
Honest_Man#1
Youre probably adding too much even 35g is approx 200 cals. I added two tablespoons. But I forgot I also added oats which will have been what really thickened it. 1000 calories per 500ml though is very decent for getting me to my daily intake.

Boostin' Kev
You counted the macro breakdown of that?
Honest_Man#1
You counted the macro breakdown of that? Nope. No idea what that is.
Aufc
Nope. No idea what that is. Carbs, protein, fats etc etc etc
Honest_Man#1
Carbs, protein, fats etc etc etc Ah right. I've not looked but the app has the breakdown and tells me if I'm going to go over my daily targets on each bit.
Boostin' Kev
Nope. No idea what that is. Sorry for the jargon! As mentioned its just amount of the big nutrients like protein, carbs, fats as opposed to vitamin/minerals. Thatll be a pretty hefty meal with the PB, banana, oats and protein.

D.A.F.C
Have a shake in the morning after weights after recommendations on here. One packet of porridge oats One spoonful of peanut butter Three spoonfuls of fat free Greek yoghurt Some almonds if I have some, not always. Two scoops of whey protein. Filled up with skimmed milk. It's a pretty big meal and apart from a piece of fruit that's me till lunchtime. I was eating three eggs with this but started to put on weight a bit too fast.
Boostin' Kev
That is a lot to eat at once and mixing carbs with fats is a good way to turn into a bit of a chubby c**t. Just try to aim for eating a bit more than you need (500 cals extra is usually recommended) if youre looking to add mass.
mrcat1990
I have a spinach omelette early doors then have a mid morning shake before lunch. That keeps me going well and keeps the weight down. I have my first Muay Thai fight confirmed in five weeks so dieting has started. Didn't seem much of an issue until some b*****d bought doughnuts for everyone at work and my favourite beer is reduced in Sainsbury's. Only have 5kg to lose so shouldn't be hard.
Boostin' Kev
Good luck with the fight. Try getting the bulk of that 5kg shifted asap dont want to be going into your first fight weight drained.
mrcat1990
First week down and appear to have shifted 1.5/2 kilos. Going to try drop it all natural but if struggling to shift last kilos in final week will look at water loading and/or wrapping up night before weigh in and sweat it out. Have 24 hours from weigh in till fight thankfully. Guy I train with once dropped 10kg during last 24 hours and couldn't stand while pissing he was that fucked. Eta. Cheers man!
