GRRM has put loads of little nuggets like that in the books but they ultimately mean sfa.......yet! The TV show generally has a problem when it takes a character somewhere they weren't in the books - they get dumped and we're not sure where they go to. I'd assume that most gravitate their way back to where they are in the books.
