Shotgun
Indeed. My wife is a mother. What's your point? Then your children should get her something. Because she's their mother. If she's still alive, you should get something for your mother. What's so tricky about that concept? Or do you buy gifts for every mother you know?
Man of Aran
I have witnessed at least two females 'receiving' Mothers Day cards from their dug today. f**k right off.

So I can totally understand why husbands step in for their shitey selfish Bairns.
Monster
Yes, multiple pictures of flowers with "It's been 28 years since you left us mama, love and miss you every day!!!!" Keep your grief private, you undignified ingrates.
Sweaty Morph
Someone on my Facebook received a Mothers Day card from their "baby bump". Awful. There was an alarming number of these cards on show when I was in buying my mum a card. I did also see a 'To My Wife On Mothers Day' but then it was a shop in Fife which may explain it.
Miguel Sanchez
I bought African flavoured crisps (fantastic btw), should I be worried?Depends on what variety of "African" they tasted of. The way you posted this makes it sound like African people.

Mordecai
Depends on what variety of "African" they tasted of. The way you posted this makes it sound like African people. I have no idea tbh. The ingredients are in Polish and I half decided to buy the packet on the merits of its vagueness. I trust you now understand why I'm worried...

Young Joseph Stalin
I don't need a corporation to tell me I should love my mum a bit more one day, fbs full of fucking idiots
Sweaty Morph
One of my sister-in-law's acquaintances died suddenly on Friday. She only knew her through their kids being in the same class. Since it happened, my S-I-L has posted, "Gone too soon", "Can't stop thinking about wee *bairn*", "Woke up hoping this was a terrible nightmare, then the reality set in :(", "Gone too soon" (again), a simple "feeling heartbroken < \3" and finally, this morning: "Praying for the family today, *bairn*'s first Mothers Day without her mum" Now, if this was a close relative I could almost understand the outpouring of grief (not that I will ever understand why people write statuses like this), but to put it up about the mother of one of your daughter's friends in what comes across as a pure fish for likes I think is disgusting. I have asked the question if she thought it was appropriate to be posting such statuses and how she would feel if it was folk she hardly knew posting should anything happen to her husband. I await the expected 'head's gone' response. This idiot is now 'bearing up' to the 'tragic loss', and kept her daughter off school today as she couldn't stand being apart from her at such a tragic time.

That'll be the shop that stocks 'Happy 30th Grandma' cards.
Jamaldo
There are genuinely some women out there who believe that only men are unfaithful. They aren't fucking right in the head.

Shotgun
My eldest has just turned 2. What the f**k is wrong with you? Sigh. OK, fine. "If" a person is old enough to understand the concept of Mother's Day, then they should give a gift to their own mother. If they aren't old enough to understand the concept, then someone else can make or buy the gift on their behalf. Happy now? You obviously have more energy for this shit than I do.

The one who posted this has openly admitted to cheating in the past... but apparently her husband did it first so he deserved it. I'm guessing he's been at it again.
