They have done some great comedy but it is as said, surrounded by a lot of guff. The elevator one, £15.20, the wee wardobe re very funny sketches. The ice cream van could be funny but they tend to take it too far.

Aye. Taking it too far is just criminal:

There are shite sketch shows, and there are shite sketch shows... AND THEN THERE'S THIS.

As I said on the other thread running, I was pleasantly surprised last week but it's pretty clear that they used all their good material up in the opening episode. Complete and utter dross, especially the daft Scottish history ones that had already been done badly in Only an Excuse. The few decent sketches always seem to be dragged on far too long as well.

Hopefully Limmy's Show is back on soon.

I thought the Mann on Mann sketch was quite good.

When the old boy got launched through the bus shelter  Of course I’d be horrified if I saw that in real life..

The etch-a-sketch recorded delivery bit was also spot on. Lost count of the amount of times I’ve scribbled nothing resembling a signature while bleary eyed in the morning and the guy has just went “Don’t worry mate that’ll do”

Jolly Boy John in his auntie’s hoor boots  Infantile humour but still funny

I love the ones that deal with awkwardness and insecurity, and the lengths people will go to, like this one:

As others have said, its like any other comedy show. Some sketches are excellent, others are terrible. The Jolly Boy John ones seem to be popular, but I can't stand them personally.
