I currently use Outlook Express but think its pretty shit, and due to alot of viruses that specifically target that program was on the look out for a relatively simple email client to use. Any one got any recomendations?

There's not too much culture shock with Thunderbird, as many e-mail clients have the same 'look-and-feel'. Multiple accounts are a breeze

I use Mailwasher at work - luckily my current home e-mail accounts are not bombarded with shite as I have been a lot more careful about who prods about with my computer

Anybody use Gmail? I've just acquired an account but haven't had much time so far to have a swatch at it. Here's an info page on the google based email service.

If you haven't already heard about Gmail, it's a new search-based webmail

service that offers:

- 1,000 megabytes (one gigabyte) of free storage

- Built-in Google search that instantly finds any message you want

- Automatic arrangement of messages and related replies into

"conversations"

- Text ads and related pages that are relevant to the content of your

messages

Gmail is still in an early stage of development. But If you set up an

account, you'll be able to keep it even after we make Gmail more

widely available. We might also ask for your comments and suggestions

periodically and we appreciate your help in making Gmail even better.
