From what I've heard Stanley messed this up by not offering the pair improved contracts when they had the chance and there was interest from other clubs but Rangers got in there first with a serious offer to the players, very opportunistic. What's happening now with both players being refused by their current club to train up in Scotland is nothing other than sour grapes towards the players. And yeah Stanley would have received more compensation had either players moved on to other English clubs. As much as the old Rangers had previous for robbing smaller clubs of their best players for pittance taking advantage of that club's financial situation, I don't see much wrong here with what Rangers have done 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
