kildog Posted July 8, 2014 Share Posted July 8, 2014 What a sad life you must live. What a sad life you must live. He takes the time to make his paragraphs different colours. It doesn't take a genius to work out he's 'no right'. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Monkey Tennis Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 At 5700 pages it's already a saga. Balls. I was genuinely planning to crack that one. A quality joke in my view. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
stonedsailor Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) Yep...And Rangers will still be back in the top league this time next season and will be at worst second in the top division the season after that.And you will be sitting beside someone you considered to be a traitor to the club. Someone who has seen your baldy ugly mug on facebook and the realisation will creep in that you are the treacherous little weasel who rebelled against his club.The spivs will still be in control. The shadow of Green and Whyte will still cover Ibrox and it will still only be Rangers fans who believe in continuation. Florentine_Pogen Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 "The total amounts to a £24m settlement to creditors less liquidators costs." If this story is true, I'd imagine there won't be much left for creditors after the liquidators take their wedge. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
youngsy Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 If this £24 million settlement is confirmed then hopefully we see Withey and Whyte facing charges of fraud resulting in substantial jail sentences. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Umbungo1874 Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 If true, what implications might it have?Well it will have nothing to do with sevco only the old clubs creditors 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GreenockRover Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 Highly suspect story - more so given the "source". Also nothing on the usual court wires.... Could be the Board attempting a bit of proactive and favourable news propaganda ? Who knows? Time will tell.... 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
theesel1994 Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 Seems Rangers have won the Upper Tier Tribunal as well. http://www.tribunals.gov.uk/financeandtax/Documents/decisions/HMRC-v-Murray-G.pdf 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
youngsy Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 So we have the UTT appeal thrown out and possible fraudulent dealings by Whyte and Withey. I would say that certain people will be absolutely spewing that this has all came about. Anyone still shouting about title stripping? Seriously i hope this case with Collyer Bristow ends with the scumbag that is Whyte serving a very long jail sentence. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 Does this mean the liquidators can call in the loans from the EBTs? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AberdeenBud Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 Who cares now tbh? Pretty much a no lose situation for a non bear. Turns out old Rangers may have died for nothing and Sir Davie shouldn't have sold 'the club' for a pound. Woe is me. What about the rest of the Scumbags Youngsy? Those who knew old Rangers were withholding tax and did nothing? Iirc hmrc said they would keep on appealing, could they take this to the High Court? Seems a bit futile now tbh. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MikeyWellFan Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 If it's possible, I think it would be even funnier if it came to pass that Rangers died for nothing. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fine, let's hope we get the lot who were involved, but first of all i hope, for all the creditors, that Whtye is taken to task for any fraudulent dealings. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fair enough, but the Web extends a lot deeper than Whyte. A certain knight of the realm is just as guilty imo. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Do you think it's funny that many people lost out on a lot of money, because that is what this is about. If it's proven that this was fraud on a grand scale then would that still be funny? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
