There's a choice missing there :- NOBODY

I am very suprised there was not option to vote for Fan Ownership, it would appear the so called "millions" of fans roung the globe can not be organised enough to buy their club back.

All they are going to get till now and Xmas is endless power struggles and then admin 2

The extremely obvious difference being that the tweet was posted in order to expose the individual as a bigot.

So we shouldn't be offended by the tweet, then? Or should we? Cmon Tedi, we need moral guidance here!

(Not really, that would be like asking Dennis Neilsen for dating advice)

Really, I thought you were just stirring as usual to try to derail the laughathon. What religion was the tweeter?

Well since the post was really aimed at me, then I think I am within my rights to respond to it, I think your anger is (yet again) aimed at the wrong poster.

No Idea.

For someone who openly admits to using the acronym DABs you come across more than a little hypocritical. The A in DABs stands for Arab, Arabs are a race of people from the Arabian peninsula. Your logic dictates that words which have an offensive conotation even when used in another context they are unacceptable. You sir are racist.

According to this article the Sons of Struth are planning to really hit the board where it hurts by...turning up in large numbers to a league match to support the team. Hmm, that'll show them.

Then they're going to boycott a midweek League Cup match (that the vast majority of them probably wouldn't plan on attending anyway). The spivs must be quaking in their boots.

They will round this all off when they "...assemble in a public place and perform a seemingly pointless act for a brief period of time" (Their own words). Isn't that what they've been doing the whole time?

The difference of course being that neither UTD fans or any organisation has confirmed that it is racially offensive or abusive of course, the opposite is true of the H word, this is just your opinion, shite effort but thanks for trying.

No, it's that they don't have the emotional age of cocker-spaniel puppy, unlike some torn-faced greeting cretins whose club died and simply cannot take it.

Most Scottish football fans use the H word in a non sectarian manner. The word is banned. My Arabian cousin twice removed finds your term offensive.

Aye Wullie, we all know you are upset that you unable to use your pet name for Rangers fans any more.

So you admit it's just a term for Rangers fans on some occasions?

If I ever meet him then you can rest assured I will not use it against him.

But it is a racial offensive term. Why use it at all?

Many people use the H word in a non sectarian manner, it's common usage has evolved only to mean Rangers fan for most. Atilla is unrelated to Ireland.

I know it is a sectarian slur used against Rangers fans (and others) often.

What sect are they, then? I was under the impression that rangers, and their successors, were football clubs. Which of the major religions do these clubs adhere to - Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism?

You and your appear to actually think you've got some kind of moral high ground going on here. All the rest of us can see is pathetic twisting and corruption to allow yourselves to be more offended than the other lot - and making yourselves look just as pathetic in the process

Nil by mouth confirmed it was sectarian, my apologies to the pedant.

Post us the link, then, Tedi.

Of course, i forgot. That would be a Tedi link. Don't make it blow up in your face again, Tedi. I remember what it said now.

Clue: not what you seem to think.

Another clue: nothing of the fucking sort.

If you are not happy the word is banned, do something about it, instead of banging on about it from 100 different angles.

Couldn't give a fùck if its banned or not, in all honesty. Simply enjoying you trying to maintain a consistent standpoint on any argument - ever. Doesn't look like you're going to break your duck on this one, either. Five stars, Portuguese titles, season tickets, DAB/***.... You're absolutely clueless.

It's not my pet name for you pet, it's everyones. But we thought you didn't care? Although like the rest hopefully, i'll respect the forum but continue to call a spade a spade, ta.

So on the back of the massive victory rankgers mk2 fans have achieved, namely ousting the editor of the Livingston match day programme what next? Maybe get the lollipop man outside your local school sacked because, like everyone else he knows you died. Or is there a sevco hating tea lady you can set your sights on.

Was Aberdeens toaster a bigot? Were you behind its departure too?

Important to get your priorities right of course.

Strange that.

Nearly all the times I have saw the h word used, is when people are identifying a certain group/individual/organisation as being bigoted.

I expect nothing less.

He brought it all on himself, an editor using the club`s official programme to express his personal views against the wishes of the club chairman, sounds like a complete lack of respect for his employers to me.

Pretty sure there's a falkirk stadium announcer who'd disagree.

Would it not have shown a smidgen more class just to laugh it off? While you went after the criminals running, trying to run and that killed your old and new teams. Nah volunteer copywriter he's the big fish after all. Oh well it's a big step up from threatening a completely uninvolved childrens entertainer. Kudos, progress not perfection as they say.

You would have a point if the piece was written with the club`s backing but so far all the evidence points to the exact opposite happening, social media and forums like these are perfect places to let our personal feelings be known, sneaky entries into official club programmes with nobody else knowing are not.

Quality swerve of the question there. Almost like you know all this greeting and whining makes you look like spoilt children.

this guy most other people would laugh these programmes off no Rangers fans put the blinkers on and decide to go completely nuts and what these poor guys sacked. The rangers fan I heard on the football phone in. Tried to tell them all that anyone who tries to get on the show and state they are a new team should be banned and the shows could possibly face legal charges due to this because it's lies lol to which Hugh k replied if you are the rangers of old. Why are they not playing Cowdenbeath as the rangers he knows and grew up with would never have shy'd away from this game for two players missing. Que the absolute rage from caller. he posted the link yesterday wrk

wrk

Eh, no he didn't. He had a wee Amigo cherry-pick at some of their content and presented it, free of context, as gospel.

You carry on relying on Tedi's world view, wee man. You're in for a lot of surprises on life's journey.

I am not relying on anyones world view.

http://nilbymouth.org/resources/history/

have a gander on their site then

"Offensive sectarian language is still used in Scotland on a daily basis, with abusive terms such as “***” and “Orange b*****d” being used negatively against Protestants (or those perceived to be) and others such as “******” and “T**” used negatively against Catholics (or those perceived to be). This reinforces religious and racial stereotypes as well as fuelling the divisions and conflict between the denominations and poeple of no religious denomination. Children commonly use words without any knowledge of their meaning, but with an understanding that these words are a means by which to insult others."

again it is simply for this reason that the word when in reference to the whole protestant and catholic divide can have more religious/political tones. the word has been made a banned word , wether you mean it to be offensive or not or wether you take it offensively or not is irrelevant. the word is banned and there is heehaw anyone can do about it really.
