WhiteRoseKillie
Of course Tedi won't mind posting a wee scan of this KPMG letter - after all, if it proves his beloved institution survived, I'm sure he'll be happy to share. After all, the only thing more embarrassing about gathering evidence about another club would be lying about it... I have to confess, I am at a loss to understand why KPMG would be writing to a middle-aged loser in the Eastern wastes...
bennett
I have to confess, I am at a loss to understand why KPMG would be writing to a middle-aged loser in the Eastern wastes...I assume that they don't take you seriously then Norm? So KPMG sold the assets to Bates .Normans so vain he thought this post was about him.
Bambino7
What a pathetic life you must lead, feeling forced to gather such evidence about another club (in another country no less) in order to try to convince yourself of your own clubs status. Utterly pathetic. They really should have put as much effort making sure they never died and it possibly might not have happened.
The_Kincardine
Leeds still paid money to their creditors as part of KPMGs agreement to sell to Bates. Normans so vain he thought this post was about him. I chuckled!

steelmen
guessing I totally missed the bit where Leeds were booted out the league and had to join the bottom division. It's true the memory goes as you get older.

aofjays
With the club's financial position brittle to say the least, United chairman Ken Bates saw his opportunity and the club opened feverish discussions with the accountants, KPMG. By 4 May Leeds United had been placed in administration and the business and assets sold to Leeds United Football Club Limited, a new company set up by Bates and his fellow directors. Wait a minute here. You are going to have to show where you got this info. Business and assets? That would make it completely different from Rangers since in that poor club's case the business was liquidated. I can't believe the brain trust that is Tedi, bennet etc would ever make such a simple schoolboy error. Shome mishtake shurley? mythstoliveby
MIllerTime? No? Liquidation? If only they'd gone for Miller instead of running him out of town! If Miller's plan had been implemented there's a chance that they might have avoided liquidation....... No wonder the rangers crew don't like to talk about Miller!!

aofjays
From KPMG 'Following the directions hearing on Friday, 6 July 2007, the administrators concluded that a sale conditional on the approval of a CVA was unachievable for the reasons outlined above.' Was the business liquidated?
