pozbaird
Would that count as social unrest? Possibly violent thuggery... Having said that, if he trots out McAvennie, The Lawman, Souness and a mono-eyebrowed Sellik fan for the one millionth time, and bodyswerves Whytey, Charlie Chuckles, The Cockwomble and Co, then he deserves shooting.
HibeeJibee
Just to veer off at a tangent - if Jonathan Watson does an 'Only an Excuse' this Hogmanay, and, like the last three or four, it's shit.... Someone take him outside and shoot him. That is all. Agreed. He has enough characters to almost effectively relaunch the program, and enough material to last a 90mins film version. But it's become a parody of itself since the middle of last decade, tbh.

TheLip69
No 8 is probably the more sensible of that lot. He probably doesn't listen to the voices in his head as much as the other two, but they are still there.

thelegendthatis
Rowntree was bought by Nestlé Rangers were killed by Murray I'm missing the comparison I think what Tedi is getting at is the price of a Kit Kat (4 finger version) is £1.00. Which is exactly what Rangers FC cost. One you can enjoy, the other gives you permanent indigestion.

thelegendthatis
Cosgrove giving it straight as a guest blogger. Stuart Cosgrove Wonderful stuff. Including exposing the mainstream media's tricks which makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time. Where is Fatboy Traynor and wee useless Chic when you need them? Many telling sentences but this one is at the heart of the whole scandal. ".....St Johnstone FC has been among the most consistent victims of fiscal misdemeanour in Scottish football. That is the irreducible issue. Several clubs have very real reasons to loathe financial mismanagement, rogue-trading and those that gain unfair advantage on the back of unserviceable debt." What they and others lost over the years can never be replaced. That is why justice has to be pursued, and if it means stripping the Ibrox Lance Armstrongs of their titles and cups, then it must be done. -

Always remember kids ! The Rangers Football Club PLC est 1872 died on June 14th 2012 the SEVCO 5088 then became The Clone Rangers Football Club est 2012 are just a shite tribute act in the 3rd and a shadow of the former team that cheated to win
thelegendthatis
Tedi and his fellow dullards get a mention by Cosgrove. (in bold). "The presumption is that people who are connected to the web are at home, in dingy rooms where they foam at the mouth frustrated by loneliness and mental illness. The term ‘internet bampots’ (coined by Hugh Keevins) and ‘keyboard warriors’ (Gordon Strachan) speaks to a world that is fearful of the web, irked by alternative opinions, and the threat that the new media poses to the traditional exchange of knowledge. It further assumes that opinion from social networks is naïve, ill-informed, or unreasonable. Whilst some of this may be true, mostly it is not. No one would dispute that there are small enclaves of truly despicable people using social networks and comment sites, but they are overwhelmingly outnumbered by the multitude of fans who simply want to talk about their team and share their dreams and memories." -

Only An Excuse is like a trip to the lav the morning after a very hot curry. Knowing what's going to happen, uneasy anticipation. A full flow of shite is punctuated by moments of relief when things seem better, but not for long - it's back to the shite. There may be a bit of discomfort that won't pass until it's all over - til next time, when you'll do it all again!
Claymores
I hope the polis are monitoring the anti-social media - I fear cosgrove could soon be in for a few choice threats from the lovely Orcs

Shades75
Got lifted for singing sectarian songs at Queen Street station too, a bigot, a thug and a P&B hero. There was a documentary on the other night about our solar system and how our planets interact with each other. Beautiful photography, educated commentary and enthusiastic delivery. Imagine my disappointment when I realised that the presenter, Prof. Brian Cox, used to play keyboards in that shite band D:Ream. I knew then and there that everything I had just watched must be pish.
Claymores
Can see the Big C was also kind enough to give you a mention If I was doing a benny the ball, I'd go for a deflection of whether you're wishing the big C on a poster Tedster you evil man (a Benny the Ball special)! As I'm not so infantile, regarding the extract you quoted - how would you characterise 7 million views of this thead, and 90% of the comments regarding the demise of the former Rangers/shock at the scale of the theft? Are we all just jelus? Jelous that never stole so much? Jelous that we ain't been liquidated? Want to buy a spare League Cup? EFFC might have one on the go - get in there before Chuckie Edited November 5, 2012 by Claymores
Shades75
obsession ? Even in the relative infancy of the Internet message board that one word (connotations, abbreviations and extensions included), could possibly be the most antiquated and cliche'd accusation of any poster with more than a passing interest in a topic.
Shades75
Oh there are plenty on here that have more than a passing interest Of course. But to call that "obsession" is to devalue the word.
Claymores
obsession ? To continue with the Cosgrove theme then, did the 7 million views and thousands of comments here and elsewhere prove any point to you at all? Did you think you might have snuck away with thieving over £100mill and still be in SPL as newco? Did our obsession prove at all that "No one likes us, we don't care" was not the wisest move?
