Strathclyde police found no evidence of any attack.

“Alex Thomson case dropped

An odd footnote to the Rangers saga was resolved on Tuesday. Strathclyde Police confirmed that their investigation into an alleged threat made by an unnamed Scottish journalist against Alex Thomson, Chief Correspondent of Channel 4 News, has closed after no evidence was found.

A Strathclyde Police spokesperson told The Daily Telegraph: “An investigation was carried out but we were unable to establish any evidence of criminality.”

Bhairnforever didn't understand.

Strangely enough, outside of the Sevconian bubble, a lot of us do. Must all be Tarriers, eh?;)

Well if you believe what the poster i originally questioned does then you're a nutter.

Trying to bring bigotry into this, what did i say early, you promote it, it's not a wise thing to do.

No

But I agree that you made more sense when you were on the radio than you do when posting your gibberish on here ;)

I'm not even in the radio station or anywhere so your just talking pish and your posts are irrelevant. tongue.gif

Tell me what does those five stars mean on a Rangers top. Just for decoration?

Not necessarily the case. If the CVA went through and they were relegated to Div 3 they would still satisfy the rule stating clubs currently playing in Div 3 must enter at round 2.

As I said I don't consider Newco as a continuation but in this particular instance i just don't consider this as a good stick with which to beat them.

? stick to beat them  I'm using the stick to beat you with

Round 4 rules will trump round 2 rules when it comes to whoever is eligible for that 4th round bye :P and glad you have said your newco is not a continuation :)

To help decipher this post, try what I did.

Copy/Paste it into a translator to convert it to another language (doesn't matter what language, just pick one at random).

Then use copy/paste again to translate the result back to English.

This result will make a bit more sense than the original.
