I hope you had a good night out. I took my weans for sushi after school to celebrate my birthday then had a row with my ex. Perfect evening.

I'd not have said the guys posting were new Rangers fans. The only one I don't know was RFT 123 - and he came up with the venue!

Anyway, new or old we're having an outbreak of levity. Are you in?

I don't post here very much, more of a lurker me.

Sorry. Was at the barras to see The View tonight so was just catching up with tonight's pish.

Who are all these new rangers fans who have joined the party?

Seems they're only here to read the BRALT Thread.

Aye how dare Rangers fans post on the Rangers forum.

Sevco fan across from me at work has been banging on about how successful it had been....strange...

It merely depends on how you want to spin it, depending on what your standpoint is. Sevco will say they have made more than the '£20m' Chuckie initally wanted.

The rest of us will say that the share issue was not a great success due to the Sevco fans being tighter than a crabs arse, and being full of wind refusing to part with their £500.

As I said, depends on your standpoint. Both variations are equally valid from my perspective.

Having more institutional investors makes it more interesting for the rest of us. These group want their money back with interest (nothing wrong with that) whereas the fans were happy for it to be a sunk cost. Since 20 million won't last long as they have various debts, outgoings etc. Should be fun to see the upheavals over the next couple of months.

Bets on Ibrox being sold by the end of 2013?

Yeh it is difficult.

Billmcmurdo yesterday........

My understanding is that the board at Ibrox is shocked by the poor response from Gers fans, as well as the divisions in the support that have surfaced over the share issue.

That aside, it should be pointed out that the IPO is still a tremendous success and it is possible that the fan allocation shortfall may be taken up by institutional investors.

The Rangers Revival train will not be derailed by the decidedly low amount of shares taken up by fans but it will mean a new, more realistic approach may come from Charlie Blue and his consortium.

Rangers fans have certainly proved they do not do walking away. Sadly, they have equally shown they don’t do buying in.

Bluenoses have 24 hours to prove this wrong…

So on one hand it is 'the board at Ibrox is shocked by the poor response' yet ' it should be pointed out that the IPO is still a tremendous success' on the other

Indeed. smile.gif I'm greatly looking forward to it and beyond.

It all comes down to who has invested from the "Institutions" (if Chuckie is to be believed) lol.

If these are shell capital companies linked to his existing backers it's the equivalent of the street corner vendor buying his own newspapers and telling his supplier he's a great salesman.

The Grande Illusion continues....

Part one of the plan complete, Rangers fans didn't buy in.

Cue the Asset stripping..... expect Ibrox to be sold and leased back. Expect all other property to be sold off. As stated above, the fans would be happy to see their investment drop in value for improved quality on the park. This is absolutely not the case for "institutional" investors. Prize money in Scotland is next to nothing so what other ways can these investors expect a return on their £20million?

When rapeepull complain expect them to be told they had their chance to invest and didn't, now don't expect a say!

Popcorn time! (Again)
