It is often the response of people accused of bigotry, to cite a defence of ''my mother was a...'' or ''my wife is a...'' and in all the times I've heard the like, I have never heard anyone say ''my father's a...''. It is always a female relative they use and of course, it is often not true. As for you regarding my post as bigoted - it's on previous page for anyone who wants to check, I can't take quotes from different pages yet - well, I'm just not qualified to do anything about rationalising your thought process. I actually treated then very fairly last season and actually the condescending posts by some Rangers posters got a little tiresome. Last season 3rd division clubs were our equal..this season 2nd division clubs are our equal and shall be treated as such. You had me scrambling back to see if I'd quoted the wrong person ahead of my post, but it seems I hadn't. To be honest, among the many digs I might aim your way, you wouldn't find one about a contemptuous attitude towards wee teams and their fans. I know that the likes of you and Ted (who inexplicably greenied your vigorous defence against a charge nobody made) actually have been genuinely enjoying the journey and taking that phrase beyond the mere rhetoric it represents for many. I made a point of saying that Bendarroch's view did not seem to reflect the majority view among Rangers fans on here. Stop seeing enemies everywhere.
