Boghead ranter Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 I reckon Ashley threatened to use his power to rename Ibrox to something ludicrous if his bid wasn't the one accepted. Something like the "Celtic are the best team in Glasgow stadium' or something equally unacceptable to Rangers fans. The way Radio Scotland talked this afternoon, his was the least attractive bid of the 3, yet his is the one ushered through by the board. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

GreenockRover Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 Bennett calling it right all along, Ashley can promise to underwrite all the share issues he wants it does not mean he will be able to do so. Bookmarked. You appear to have forgottenn your pals at Head Office.... Rules and regulations can be "improved" if required. Watch this space.... 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bennett Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 Mike owning or controlling more than 10% will not cause any conflict of interest .. Yes it could, now do one. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GreenockRover Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 How so .. ? Forget UEFA competitions as they have their own clear rules on this matter .. Do explain ,.. or do one., Why are you debating with the Village Idiot ? Are you that bored ? The SFA will be threatened with court action by Ashley IF he so chooses to challenge the current restrictions. The fools at Hampden cannot afford to challenge it and - in reality - would welcome the change as it would, potentially, hasten the return of the disgraced club to be in a position to partake in a resurrected Old Firm derby.....and the money from TV that would attract, 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dirty dingus Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 The big problem for the horde is trying to carry Sashley shoulder high down Edmiston drive. Maybe big shovel hauns can just give him a carry coal bag to the marble steps of doom. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

GreenockRover Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 Ashley will do what he wants and illegal SFA rules will not stand in his way. Any chance you can tell Bennett this obvious fact ? He appears to struggle with the nuances of corporate warfare and it's ability to view fans as collateral damage when it comes to maintaining the Profit Line. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scottxs Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 Wonder you'll be first to go in the big clear out. Who's on the biggest wage that is expendable. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~ Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 I don't think they can claim it's the same club. They don't even own the name of the stadium or the old clumpany badge What is left of the club? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
I'm sure Campbell Ogilvie will be there to assist the brogues of truth as he would all teams including other 1st division diddes. According to Clyde, Scottish football struggles without one of their arse cheeks and A&E enjoys a welcome break. Last night Lawrie the thesaurus and BFDJ were having a good laugh about ingrained sectarian bigotry on radio clyde...couple o kunts. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
What are the FA's rules on having a stake in more than two clubs? Likewise UEFA? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
In comparison to you Bennett - I'm a fuckin Guru .... but using you as a yardstick for anything is the very definition of a vaccuous comparison. The SFA want your team back in the top league......you understand this don't you? The SFA will bend and alter any and ALL rules to assist your incompetent organisation into an elevated position they really don't deserve. The SFA are as incompetent an organisation as Fat Salary is a bad manager - they are a perfect match. Corporate foxes like Ashley see pound signs not "Loyal" fans and historical glories. They manipulate and deceive and make you do their bidding without you being aware they have their hand in your pocket. Where Rangers are concerned, it's like taking candy (potentially quite a lot) from spoilt babies. Now.... away you go and purchase those scarves, shirts, bunnetts and so on. Your club needs you. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
