Zing.
There isnt any doubting that we'll be going in as the underdogs, but im hoping that the players will believe in themselves and actually stand up to hearts instead of hiding away and not facing up to the challenge. We have some capable players but if the whole team dosent turn up I fear a pumping. The biggest and most important derby match in history. Bring it on!
ForzaDundee
Actually looking forward to watching this match. Great for Scottish football that we've got a massive game which doesn't involve the bigot bros.

HibeeJibee
There's not a chance the players will shite this one. No way. Pressure and nerves could tell for either side on the day, ultimately. In some respects the fact that much of our team are loanees from down South or recent signings from abroad may help - they're not so aware of the pressure and history of the derby nor of the long wait for Scottish Cup redemption. That may help them. And those players that are (most notably O'Connor and Griffiths) are of the temprament to thrive upon it, potentially.
Reynard
I've never been looking forward to a Scottish cup final that's not involved my own team more. Hope Hibs win. Would be a fitting way for them to end their cup hoodoo. Me too. And I want Hibs to win it as well. It's long overdue.
Unleash The Nade
I'm home in time for this (second ever use of Greggy. I could get used to this). I fly out on holiday the day before it .... Totally gutted! f**k f**k f**k!
Guest
I honestly don't think there will ever have been a game in the history of Scottish football which will mean more to the fans than this (speaking from a Hibs perspective anyway). It will either be the greatest day of my life or the worst, guarenteed tears one way or another. Could you imagine the scenes if Hibs won? Just goes to show why football is so great, Hibs have been brutal for a good three years with no hope on the horizon and now we have this to look forward to. The only thing which gives me any confidence is that our defence looks a lot more solid, and Fenlon is meant to be a cup specialist. Without wanting to sound like I'm prone to exaggeration, James McPake is the greatest sportsman of all time.
DomDom
If this doesn't sell out, although it looks likely that it will, I'll definately go. I'm actually considering getting a ticket when they are available.
deadasdillinger
This should be an absolute cracker. On the one hand if Hibs end the 110 year wait that the Jambos love to remind them about with a win over Hearts in the final, it would be feckin hilarious On the other, I have a few Hibees mates who like winding me up about 5-1 in 2007. Be a real shame if they were to get royally pumped, eh?
mizfit
Pals family are jambos, boy just phoned me offering me a ticket for the final. Can't say I'm not tempted.
killiepiemuncher
If your going to end a 110 year hoodoo this will be the ultimate way to do it. A cracker for the neutral. Mind you it probably be a 120 min borefest with a penalty shoot out at the end.
Mr Sugden
Genuinely have butterflies already. We are complete underdogs, Hearts have a hold over us and one of the worst Hibs teams I've witnessed. I expect we'll get beat but ..... Its gonna be a long month.

Can't say I'm not tempted. tell him he should leave it for actual hearts/hibs fans. People turning up for a jolly at a game like this and taking the seat away from an actual fan is pretty poor tbh. not that it will matter to me as I am a season ticket holder and was at all the previous rounds Edited April 15, 2012 by Haters Gonna Hate
Guest
I have no sympathy for anyone who can't get a ticket. I'll wait outside in the rain overnight if it's what it takes, as will any real Hibby or Jambo. I've heard a few jambo mates saying that they might try and get tickets for their first game this season. "Might"? I really hope they don't.

mizfit
Good reason for st Johnstone to cheer on hearts. We automatically qualify for the Europa league if hearts win.
