What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Seven 7.5/10

Good cast and really good idea. Even though he wasn't in it long, Spacey nailed the twisted character. Loses half a mark because I don't like Brad Pitt as an actor.

Casino 7/10

I think I remember someone saying this was Goodfellas in a casino and they were right except it was slightly better. Another good cast with De Niro and Pesci playing fantastic parts. Not sure if it was so long but there was just 'something' missing.

Philistine.

Just back from watching Sherlock Holmes. Even with Guy Ritchie directing we thought it was very good.

Robert Downey jr and Jude Law make an entertaining double act. Good updated version.

Definitely a sequel planned.

Law Abiding Citizen

If you like a good revenge film, make sure you watch this. It's brilliant. Gerrard Butler's American accent is highly unconvincing but apart from that, it's got a good cast and the story is pretty gripping. They d an excellent job of keeping the viewer confused about which character (Fox or Butler) isin the right and who's side you're really on. I won't give too much away here but if orture scenes in films piss you off, you're in for a treat here. It never gets graphic but it leaves you in no doubt how grusome some of the stuff is.

I was watching Lethal Weapon a while a go and some folk were torturing Riggs to get information out of him. They were electrocuting him with a big stick and he didn't tell them anything. That's shite. All you'd need to do is walk in, take a sharpened HB pencil out your pocket and say, "This is a pencil. I'm going to push it slowly up your penis until you tell me what I want to know." Anybody would spill immediately.

So, watch Law Abiding Citizen.

9/10

Just finished watching this. Decent movie, 7/10 perhaps.

Points off for the poor attempt at an accent, but plus points for his character's name being Clyde lol

Thought they way the judge copped it was superb.

Something, Something, Something, Dark Side

The second volume of the Family Guy/Star Wars series. While it wasnt as good as the first one it was enjoyable enough and had a few laughs. Lots of Star Wars references(nah!) which made it very watchable as the original Star Wars films are awesome.

In The Loop (2009)

Got this gem for Christmas.

Just fantastic. Capaldi, no doubt will be typcast as Tucker, but truly fantastic and very funny. Some of the put downs and liners from him are excellent.

A lot of LAUGH OUT LOUD moments, and already excited to watch it again in the next few days.

What he said! Absolutely amazing film. As said in another post, I loved how the judge got killed. Did shit myself initially though as you just didn't expect that, i thought it was going to blow up

Ice Age again, got the box set for Christmas, almost as good as the Lion King.

Still 9/10.

Steady! As tremendous as Ice Age is, the Lion King is still a good distance ahead of it.

I'm on SkyPlayer on the Xbox just now so I think another film will be in order.

21 Grams - 8/10

Great film. Straight from the start, scenes jump from present day, to the future, and then back again. At first it's a bit confusing, but all comes together as the film goes on. The three main characters are played brilliantly as their lives are thrown together by a tragic accident, particularly by Naomi Watts, who is probably my favourite actress. I've not seen a film she's not been great in.
