StewartyMac
SpiderMan 3 D/loaded it ages ago, and watched it on the PC, and couldn't really get into it. Was on Sky BoxOffice HD the other night, so watched it again, and loved it this time. Watching movies on your computer is really shite, no atmosphere. Anyway, not as good as the 2nd one, but marginally better than the first. 8/10 Edited January 1, 2008 by StewartyMac
uberman
Fantastic 4 - 5/10 Would of been less points if it wasn't for the lovely Jessica Alba starring in it
Monster
Casino Royale Set on its own not that bad a film, but considering it's meant to be a Bond film I think it's no wonder Daniel Craig won't be doing another one. 6/10
Guest Peter Henry Davidson
The Simpsons Movie. Really average reminded why I dont watch the show anymore. The whole Spider-pig thing barely raised a giggle though that might have been due to the hype. 5/10

Loki
Casino Royale was the best bond film in twenty five years. I watched Octopussy last week and to me that sums up the quality of Bond, a truly shite film but checks all the Bond Films fans boxes. Daniel Craig I believe is signed to do three Bond films, with the second currently being made now.
bluetooner
The Simpsons Movie.Really average reminded why I dont watch the show anymore. The whole Spider-pig thing barely raised a giggle though that might have been due to the hype. 5/10 Im not even sure i would give it a 5. That may be unfair as i aint a simpsons fan anyway, but it was shite. I also fell asleep during the film - it was that bad. 3/10 Casino Royale was the best bond film in twenty five years. I watched Octopussy last week and to me that sums up the quality of Bond, a truly shite film but checks all the Bond Films fans boxes. Daniel Craig I believe is signed to do three Bond films, with the second currently being made now. I agree with that. I didn't think it would be that good a film, but i thought it was far better than the "gadgets" laden bond films of the past. Also watched the following over the holiday period:- Transformers - still 10/10. Bourne Ultimatum - was great seeing Waterloo thinking there is a really cool bar just behind him there An excellent part of the story. Same idea as the rest, and ties up the movie nicely if they want to finish at that point. With the ending they may also be able to continue to a new Bourne movie. 9/10 Pirates of the Carribean - 7/10. I thought it was better than the 2nd film. Johnny Depp was excellent in it again - and anything with Keira Knightly gets extra points Live free or Die Hard - 10/10 - i think this may be the first ever film series to go to a 4th film and all be brilliant films. Obviously some of it is far fetched, but thats what makes it brilliant. After watching this i went and got the first 3 movies box set so i now have all 4

Savage Henry
Rented Insomnia out just for the sake of it, it had been a while. I think it is destined to be a classic alongside the Hitchcock masterpieces of suspense. 9/10

ICTChris
The Lives of Others - 9/10, brilliant film. Amazing performances, real acting rather than Hollywood mugging.
SaltyTON
300 (2006) 8/10 Basically a cross between Braveheart, The Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. Decent, although the random casting of Gerard Butler as Leonidas was a bit weird!
Shengus Khan
Last King Of Scotland - 7/10 I did enjoy it but it wasn't quite as good as what I was expecting/hoping. Obviously the performance from Whittaker was outstanding (it's not often you can say that eh Rangers fans? ) and McEvoy puts in an excellent turn as well but I was expecting a masterpiece, a genuine ten out of ten thrill of a movie but it just didn't quite grab me like I thought it might. Still a decent couple of hours Edited January 7, 2008 by Shengus Khan
