DA Baracus
Oh and it happened on the (free to view) Impact right after a PPV. And they wonder why so few people buy their PPVs.
TheGreenMonster
TNA have confirmed the return of the 6 side ring on a permanent basis starting this week at their NY shows
Ira Gaines
That'll please their roster. Oh... wait. No it won't. Another shite decision from the glorified pisspot.
DA Baracus
What's the point in going back to the 6 sided ring now?! It's an utter desperation move. TNA are a shambles.

Big River
The worst thing is that some people will probably go back to watching TNA now that they've went back to having a six-sided ring and a "recognisable" champion such as Lashley. He's shit though, and having him as champion is shit. Matt Hardy returning might bring back some viewers as well but that's another desperation move.
PrestersKTID
Would going back to a six sided ring not mean that the product will be shit for a good few months as a lot of the talent won't have worked in one before and would have to adapt?
forehead7
Would going back to a six sided ring not mean that the product will be shit for a good few months as a lot of the talent won't have worked in one before and would have to adapt? Maybe, it'll maybe quicken the product a bit but at the end of the day, if the guys they're using are still shit and the storylines are pish then the product is still going to be pish. And with it being harder to bump on, the morale is probably only going to get worse.
DA Baracus
TNA continues to be a fucking mess. Last night some guy came out saying he represented the TNA Board of Directors. He said MVP was no longer in charge because the Board of Directors had decided so. And that was it. MVP's reign as running things just ended. Just like that. If the Board of Directors had such power, then why did they allow both Dixie and MVP to run things? Why didn't they just step in and stop it? It's just lazy, awful booking. Oh, and the BOD made Kurt Angle the new guy in charge. Yes, yet another 'authority figure'. That's 3 now (Kurt, Dixie, MVP), 4 if you include the BOD guy. There as a good main event mind. Abyss and Willow took on Bram and Magnus in a Monster's Ball match. Entertaining stuff. Magnus is a lot better now than when he was bland, typical heel champ. Oh and Tommy Dreamer battered EC3. I'm sure we all heard that his House of Hardcore will stage an 'Invasion' (wow! such an original idea!) of TNA. Just kill it now.
DA Baracus
Caught some of Impact on Sunday night. It was alright. They were pushing ECW nostalgia pretty hard instead of concentrating on themselves, the same company that's been running longer than ECW did. Anyway, the main event was Lashley (they've dropped the 'Bobby' from his name in what must surely be a totally original idea and is in no way just copying shit from a certain other promotion) vs Jeff Hardy (not Willow, although he was wearing a Willow tshirt; when he was Willow he often wore a Jeff Hardy tshirt). The match was alright but you need to check out a utterly insane bump Hardy took. He hit a Swanton right on to a set of steel steps that had been turned on their side outside of the ring. Looked brutal as f**k.
Killiesquirrel
Not watched TNA in years, but flicked it on for a bit yesterday. I watched the Hardy vs Lashley match, and just came on here to agree about the bump that DA Baracus mentioned, looked insanely sore. Fair play for taking it

DA Baracus
Impact was decent again tonight. The mental New York crowd undoubtably helped but it was still a good show. I know they have to do it because of costs, but the Impact Zone is just killing them . A good crowd can always elevate a show and a pish crowd, like they get at the Impact Zone every single taping, will make a show seem boring and flat. Anyway, Matt Hardy came back to team with Jeff and they'll face The Wolves on the next Impact (Destination X) for the tag titles. Should be cracking. Austin Aries cashed in the X Division for a WHC title shot against Lashley which will also take place next week. Aries cut a great promo and is getting back to his best. Would love to see him lift the title. Low Ki returned and looked ace beating Zema Ion. Oh and Ezekiel Jackson and Snitsky ran in in the main event (which was Team 3D and Tommy Dreamer vs EC3, Rhyno and Rockstar Spud). They joined Dixie Carter's stable. For some reason Mo Lawal was with her as well.

Shuggie_Murray7
TNA was absolutely brilliant back in the day, turned to utter shite, now it's dead. Awell, it had a good run but I can't really say that I'll even notice when they are gone TBH.
DA Baracus
If they're so determined to copy the WCW playbook then they should have read the ending.
Ira Gaines
Both sides have confirmed that they're actually still in talks about the deal, and the story isn't true. Although probably should have added a "yet" to the end of that.

Ira Gaines
Russo worked shoot????? Someone probably just jumped the gun on Viacom's decision on it. If Spike are still at the table, they clearly still want TNA, so it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
