Lets hope its a Saturday game and no need for faulty floodlights at all. 🤞

I may be wrong but I think DA Baracus is referring to the game that didn't start at EEP due to biblical rainfall about 20 minutes before kick off at EEP. Not the game at Starks.

That was crazy. Teams warmed up no bother, then there was 10 mins of torrential rain that left the pitch completely unplayable. Was still July, if I remember correctly.

That's a nice wee earner for both clubs at the start of the season

I might be being overly pessimistic, but I'm not sure it will be? lucky to get 4,500 at the game, once the gate is split it won't make much waves.

Depends if TV money is split seems a dead cert for TV

There's every chance I'm just being pessimistic, but I reckon it goes on TV, no more than 2,500 home fans and 2,000 away fans.

Some competitive pricing would help but if its at the league prices...

On the other hand it could be the final fixture where both teams have a chance of making the next round, that might bump up the gate.

I might be getting my wires crossed but it's not a big earner anymore is it?

On here it says you get 17,000.

It's still money at the end of the day but I don't see it impacting either teams season.

Aye that's the one. Pretty sure it was a league cup game too.

Yup, there were then lots of tears from some Raith fans who were calling the postponement a farce and claiming that the drainage was the issue and the club were at fault etc.

Certainly a cup game but have it in my head it was a challenge cup game as I wasn't going to go,  ended up at the last minute deciding to go and turning up late only to be confused that the game hadn't started and I couldn't get into the ground!

They just had their circuits crossed…

It’s generally gone pretty well with competitive pricing, but the with the new lot in it would be speculative to assume. It also depends who’s at home, as it’s still speculation due to the secrecy shrouded process the League follows.

Aye could have been Challenge Cup. Was definitely a cup like you say.

If I'm not mistaken did Ross Millen not score the winner in the re-arranged game?

It was either that game, or it was the game we won 2-0? I’m sure Liam Fox despatched a penalty after a certain Joe Cardle was brought down in the box?

That was a season or two later when Pars went down with the money issues.

I think we were down, it must've been the summer of 2014 ish, if it's the game I thought of I was living away.
