I would imagine the player he was speculating about is the same one that’s playing for Raith Rovers now. I think the other player being speculated about was another that didn’t sign - who went to Inverness and is now at United. He posted an article in the last fortnight about injured players coming back, he said some were close and the ones mentioned are probably the guys we'll see last if at all this season. I'll believe we're signing Ashcroft when he's running out at East End in a black and white shirt. He's been making appearances for Dundee in the Premiership and probably has more attractive loans than a Championship relegation dogfight. I've known Michael for years, I spoke to him about the Ashcroft rumour and have no reason to doubt the information.
