Adam
^^^^sitting in his his pants with a roast dinner. No shame. It's still not ready. Upgraded from pants to a pair of jeans and a glass of wine. What else should you do on a Monday afternoon?
Sergeant Wilson
Just been reading through some of the last few pages on this forum. Like many other social media websites, its difficult to tell whether people are being honest, sincere, trolling, etc, etc. However, given the nature of this particular thread, there seem to be quite a few folk on here just for entertainment value and mocking at others. I think you have to take the attitude that the people who do post on here regarding their issues are genuine and this may be the only way they have of discussing them regardless of what you think . The dangerous and concerning thing is, taking the piss may actually make them worse and result in more serious consequences. So a bit of advice. If you just come here to point the finger and laugh at people who may have genuine problems, possibly worsening their situation, why no just f**k off? The person in question doesn't have serious problems and it his him who is trivialising matters. He was in despair but managing to discuss the Dundee pub crawl within minutes. He has problems, but depression isn't one of them.
Unleash The Nade
Gies a fucking break. If you have serious problems, do you really think a Scottish football forum is the best place to air them? Serious business this internet thing, it would seem. That's your opinion, which doesn't make it right for everyone. Don't be such a blinkered and selfish c**t

You should take your own advice. Fair point. I'm just trying to point out that some of the people who choose to post about their troubles on here, may be extremely vulnerable and ripping the piss out of them, is quite a dangerous and irresponsible thing to do
Sergeant Wilson
And you can tell that 100% from an internet forum?Of course I can't, but over a period of time I've formed an opinion.
SweeperDee
Unfortunately being judged is a common consequence of posting the way he does. Do you judge the dafties on the facebook thread? Can't really remember the last time I looked on the Facebook thread, to be honest. When it comes down to someone opening up about how shite they're feeling (and to them, it's obviously having a strong negative effect), that person should never feel like they are going to be mocked for doing so. I've seen it many times myself that once a person is mocked or ridiculed for actually talking about their true feelings, whether positive or negative, they will have reservations about opening up again; which at least can be very emotionally harmful, and at the most downright dangerous.
Musketeer Gripweed
That's your opinion, which doesn't make it right for everyone. Don't be such a blinkered and selfish c**t This a Scottish football forum, the the Samaritans. This this type of thread gets frequented by young laddies, attention seekers and people taking the pish. I feel sorry for people with genuine issues, but this really isn't the place for people to discuss their personal life. The site has been going for well over a decade now, I would have thought everyone knew that.

welshbairn
Plan is turn my phone off later for the next few days. Only use it for photos. I feel that deleting Facebook and turning my phone off I'll feel better in 2 weeks time. Couldn't sleep last night with so much on my mind. Head is sore, feel crap and literally can't be bothered with anything. Should be enjoying myself on holiday when I'm not. Heading to marmaris today so will hopefully be able to take my mind off a few things today. Man's got the black dogs real bad likes.
SweeperDee
This a Scottish football forum, the the Samaritans. This this type of thread gets frequented by young laddies, attention seekers and people taking the pish. I feel sorry for people with genuine issues, but this really isn't the place for people to discuss their personal life. The site has been going for well over a decade now, I would have thought everyone knew that. The Samaritans isn't exclusively for people who are feeling depressed or who are suicidal. If you are feeling negative in any way, and you want to talk about those negative feelings with someone who will listen to you, then Samaritans are for you. Unfortunately, there are not more services like the Samaritans; the whole premise of the service is to open up and talk about your feelings that are causing you to feel emotionally distressed. Opening up, whether it be anonymously or not, is the best thing for alleviating negative feelings in my opinion (From my own experience also); don't lambast others for opening up. If you don't like what you see, just don't read the thread. Edited July 6, 2015 by DonnieDarko
YassinMoutaouakil
Pretty much spot on. No one here is in any position to question the nature of a persons' current emotional state. I'm a definite advocate of speaking about feelings, opening up and in general just getting things off your chest if they are getting you down. Anyone who mocks a person for doing so, and anyone who mocks the reaction to a certain situation a person is in when they are completely oblivious to the circumstances should be ashamed. I also notice that the people insisting he has absolutely nothing wrong with him are the same ones that are castigating him for letting seemingly irrelevant things get to him.
Adam
And his mustard jacket. Nope, that's been in the big skip in the sky for a few months sadly. That's a good reason to be depressed actually.
Sergeant Wilson
My true feelings about Ian Davidson and nobody else wants to agree with me, more or less everything I say on here everyone disagrees with me. Over and over and over. I'm depressed. :-( again people on here wouldn't mock me for it incase my state of mind wasn't so good On a serious note ever since my wife was diagnosed with diabetes type 1 and with my son being diagnosed with autism life has definitely changed. Son starts school this year after keeping him back a year at nursery but the Mrs hormones are everywhere and for me it changed rapidly when she found out she has type 1. Have you been taking her insulin? -
