Jan Vojáček
Was James Penrice not in team today or have Thistle changed their mind about loaning him to us Don't think they'll loan him out until after the game against us in a couple of weeks. Seem to remember reading something about Archibald wanting at Thistle for pre-season.
1870ToonBlue
Decent game today, Stranraer edged the first half bossing the play without a cutting edge. Dumbarton were poor imo Alot of work to do after today for the manager. The players I seen today for yous I would have been happy if we had signed any of them but on todays showing I wouldnt take any of them. Jamie Hamill bossed it and why did Tom Lang never get a game head and shoulders above any of the centre halves

If it was the latter, as I suspect it was, then I wouldn't go overboard on Lang just yet.

It`s not like you lost to Cowdenbeath after being 2-0 up. Now that would be a worry.

Attractive though a day out in Cowdenbeath is an afternoon drinking fine wine on a balcony overlooking the harbour in Port de Soller in Mallorca was too good to miss. I`m sure those who were at the game will update. I will be back home in time for the cup game at Stenny on 15/7 so the opportunity to live life in the fast lane hasn`t been entirely lost.

Early morning stroll in the park or not they should of had the Jamie Hamill attitude. Carswell was decent to be fair as was the boy Johnston when he came on he would be a useful addition

We have rebuilt our team and had some trialists in show so nothing troubling.

Not my worry tho I will head back over to league 1. Enjoy your season guys

Thommo90
Can't take anything from pre season games, especially ones that aren't advertised and are at daft o clock!
Moonball
Very early days for Dumbarton. Remember we were back in pre-season training long before most teams as well. Having said that, Hamill and Lang are looking like very good business indeed from Faz.
Jan Vojáček
Haud on a minute, how come every man and his dog from Stranraer were at the game today, and nobody thought to confirm the kick off time to me? Not cool, guys. Not cool.
