Or are they happy to see an innocent pair go down? I don't think that's their reasoning. The lead suspects have now been found innocent and it doesn't look like there are any others close to trial. From their point of view, it looks like their daughters murder may never be solved. Think that's what the Italian prosecuters suggested happened given they all (Guede included) claim to be completely innocent. Haven't followed this too closely but vaguely remember watching a youtube clip that strongly suggested Knox was guilty and put together a strong circumstantial case to back it up.
